Skandiform –
Scandinavian Sense
Our heart is in Vinslöv, in Sweden’s southernmost
province, Skåne. It was here that Skandiform was
born in 1962. And it is here that you will still find us
today. Furniture has always been our business and
our passion, and we are proud to uphold the
traditions we have helped to create – all the
collective expertise and experience that has paved
the way forward for us.
We are committed to continued development,
innovation and progress, but we never compromise
on common sense. Common sense in all that we
do.The environment is important, but people are
important, too. It’s important to do a great many
things in the right way. For the sake of sustainable
development and a sustainable world. We know our
industry, we know our responsibilities and we stand
for what we do.
At Skandiform we are proud of the values on which
our company is built, of our origins and our corporate culture. All of this comes together in what we
ourselves call “Scandinavian Sense”.
Sense and sensibility. Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow.
Welcome to the world of Skandiform.

Craftsmanship down
to the very last detail
The journey from first idea to finished product is a
long one. The process starts by working closely
together with a team of carefully chosen designers.
Our own product technicians help to create new
products parallel with their on-going work to improve
and develop the existing range.
The various components are manufactured by
rigorously selected suppliers, the best in their field.
In Vinslöv, the site of our head office and our own
production facility in the south of Sweden, each
item of furniture is given those all-important finishing
touches. Wooden furnishings are given a protective
surface finish in the lacquer shop. Upholstered
furniture is thoroughly inspected, assembled and
serial numbered. Everything is carefully packed
in sturdy cartons or cases before it is shipped
for delivery.
We are there every stage of the way – to provide
peace of mind for you, and for ourselves!

JEFFERSSON
design by ALEXANDER LERVIK
A generously proportioned conference chair with a
comforting embrace. Choose from three different
frames. Ideal combined with the wedge-shaped table
in the same family that gives everyone the opportunity
to take an active part in discussions.
10
11
JEFFERSSON LOUNGE
The single, long seat-cushion
gives JEFFERSSON an air of
stylish simplicity.
“A graphically striking design that literally
turns conventional thinking upside down
to create a form that is broader at the base
and narrower at the top.”
12
13
LOUNGE
design by ALEXANDER LERVIK
With its comfortable embrace LOUNGE is
ideal in lobbies and foyers, waiting rooms,
libraries and reception areas. The high armrests of the armchair invite the user to adopt
a relaxed sitting posture where the arms can
rest in comfort.
Place two or more NEVERSTOP tables close
together and let their curved lines meander
placidly through the room.

“Skandiform was the first furniture
company I designed for, so it has always
held a special place in my heart. For me,
Skandiform is the foremost representative of Scandinavian design.”
BOOMERANG
design by ALEXANDER LERVIK
A light-hearted solution for a bench designed for
different types of seating. Ideal wherever people spend
just a few short minutes sitting before moving on – in
a departure lounge, a school, or a shop that wants to
send out signals that it is something special.
16
17
COLT
design by RUUD EKSTRAND
With its clean lines and distinctive contours,
COLT is the perfect canvas for creativity,
innovation and important decisions. Here –
as always in our furniture – form and function
meet in perfect synthesis.
It’s the legs that make Colt table so special.
The ingenious design of the legs and the unique linking system
enable you to create your own fully customised conference table.
You can build Colt tables small or large, broad and as long as you
like – every one of which combines function with good looks.
18
19
“COLT – THE ABLE TABLE.
Just one type of leg, but any length
of table and any shape you want –
square, rectangular or circular.”
One table – numerous uses. A conference table, a desk,
adjoining workstations, or a focal point for creative meetings.
Tables with room for piles of papers and wide expanses of
working space – at one and the same time.
20
21
FLEX
design by RUUD EKSTRAND
FLEX impresses with its simplicity and appeals through its
understated elegance. The integral lumbar support and just
a hint of flexibility in the backrest make this chair the obvious
choice in many settings. Here FLEX is teamed up with DISC,
a series of tables offering endless possibilities that has
become a Skandiform classic over the years. The timeless design and flexibility of DISC have made it an obvious
choice in conference rooms worldwide.
22
23
“Combined with DISC UP
table, this opens up exciting new
opportunities for alternative
ways of meeting and discussing.”
FLEX HIGH
As its name suggests, FLEX HIGH has a
higher backrest to raise the level of comfort
even further. Also available with a heightadjustable frame and rocking function.
FLEX UP
You might say that FLEX UP raises working meetings
to a new level. Even at this seating height, the chair
offers the same comfort as the rest of the Flex family.
24
25
FLEX IN THE AUDITORIUM
The facility for combining different fabrics
in different shades makes FLEX even more
flexible. Add a writing tablet for taking notes
during the meeting or using your iPad.

RUUD
EKSTRAND
“I have been working with
Skandiform since 1990. I’m
inspired by the kind of collaboration that involves design and the
development of a fundamental
idea, a basic product that can be
combined and varied.”
Few furniture designers are as productive or experienced as Ruud Ekstrand. He has a prodigious
portfolio of products that he has created for and
with Skandiform.
Since designing his first item of
furniture for us more than 20
years ago, Ruud has gone
from success to success.
The quality of his work
has been recognised with
numerous international
awards and his products
have been exhibited at
many of the world’s major
design centres.
Ruud’s unique feeling for
furniture design is summed up in
the simplicity, ingenuity and smart,
flexible solutions that are the hallmark
of his creations.

NONSTOP
design by RUUD EKSTRAND
A contemporary classic. Modular sofa sections with
the gently rounded silhouette that is the hallmark
of NONSTOP. The ability to assume endless shapes
and combinations in different colours is just one
reason behind its sensational success. Here
CONICA table serves as the perfect partner.

TABAC
design by CLAESSON KOIVISTO RUNE
With its simple lines and comforting
embrace TABAC provides a sensation of
security and seclusion even in busy public
spaces. The compact size means that it
is easy to use in many different settings.
And the runners ensure that it moves with
a mere whisper.
LUI
design by JONAS LINDVALL
An easily placed conference chair offering
good comfort. Inspired by Rococo styling,
LUI chair combines a sturdy appearance
with a remarkably slender size.
32
33
MAMA
design by JONAS LINDVALL
Much more than just an ordinary chair, MAMA is also
a comfortable easy chair. This scaled-down version
of Papa is full of personality and pretty to look at,
too. Mama is just as much at home in meeting rooms
at work as it is in the reading corner at home. The
ideal partner for Papa table. A classic in the making.
34
35
OAK/PAPA
design by JONAS LINDVALL
Two contemporary classics. Chairs whose simple
lines state their case with attitude. Generous forms
with generous details and exquisitely turned legs.
PAPA easy chair is welcomingly comfortable to sink
into, while OAK is the obvious complement to the
table that shares its name.

AEON
design by Claesson Koivisto Rune

AEON CONFERENCE
The elegant, slender lines of this conference
chair give it a highly distinctive expression.
Choose underframes on castors, runners or glides.
design by Claesson Koivisto Rune
NOON is a sofa you can have in almost
any length you wish. The separate, gently
rounded seat and backrest give the sofa a
unique character and a light, airy look. Easy
to place, even in difficult-to-furnish settings.
42
43
AFTERNOON
design by Claesson Koivisto Rune
AFTERNOON takes its name from the fact that it was created
“after Noon”. An entire family of space-saving furnishings,
equally at home in conference rooms, educational facilities,
lounges and restaurants. If necessary, both the chair and sofa
can be stacked.
44
45
AFTERNOON WOOD
A new addition to the Afternoon/Noon family.
The same seat construction, but here on a
wooden frame that spreads a warm, welcoming
atmosphere. The visual separation of seat and
frame creates the sensation of a sitting surface
that almost floats in the air.

RUNE
The design trio of Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune met as students. After graduating they
opened their own architectural consultancy in 1995. Since then the scope of their assignments has expanded,
and they now divide their time more or less equally between architectural projects and design.
Their portfolio of successful projects is almost
limitless. The high quality of their work has
brought them acclaim not only in Scandinavia,
but also throughout Europe, in Japan, the USA
and South America. Today their designs are
recognised and acknowledged worldwide.
They have received numerous Swedish and
international awards for their work and they
remain totally uncompromising in their
commitment to develop and improve without
ever repeating themselves.

BOXER
design by Claesson Koivisto Rune
The BOXER family includes armchair, easy chair,
sofa, bar stool and table. The name comes from the
design’s resemblance to a boxer dog, with which it
shares the same stocky, upright profile. The square
legs further underline the characteristic air of selfassurance. High armrests help create a sense of
personal space even in public areas.

POMPIDOO
BOMBITO, POMPIDOO and TORRO are designed by Jonas Lindvall. The family resemblance is clear to
see. All share the same concept of a comfortable, quiet seat shell that is perfect in an auditorium, dining
room, school, café or office. Choices of colours and finishes open up all sorts of fascinating opportunities
for variation. Linkable and stackable. All are available with or without armrests.
52
With its generously upholstered seat and sturdy armrests
DRIPP chair, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, ensures
a truly comfortable sitting experience. The gap between
the armrests and the back is not merely intended to
enhance the chair’s good looks; it also provides plenty of
scope for moving your arms.
53
MAX, designed by Ruud Ekstrand, is a comfortable,
high-back conference chair. Generously proportioned,
it stands steady and sturdy – the ideal choice as a
visitor’s chair or in a waiting room. And it’s stackable,
too.
SITTER L /
SITTER S
design by Henrik Schulz
So very different, and yet…. Two sisters. The big
one, inspired by the shape of a babyseat and
stackable despite its appearance, certainly knows
how to attract attention. This is a welcome place
of refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The little sister, also stackable, offers an
equally comfortable seat, but is perhaps more at
home in larger auditoriums. The mesh backrests
give both the chairs a light, airy appearance.

CONICA
DUNE
design by HANNE KORTEGAARD
design by JONAS LYNDBY JENSEN
Unashamedly artistic in its uniqueness, DUNE is
inspired by the idea of sitting in a sand dune, its
shape designed to be inviting from any angle. A
fitting choice for art galleries, hotel receptions,
foyers and other public spaces.
CONICA easy chair is inspired by the style and designs
of the 1950s, but with a contemporary twist. The
interface between backrest, rails and back legs gives
the design an expression of strength. The chair is
constructed from components distinguished by their
gently tapered silhouettes. The proportions reinforce
the slightly masculine expression, emphasising the
underlying language of design.

Focus on
sustainability
Skandiform’s work to achieve long-term sustainability
is derived from and maintained by our commitment to
continuous improvement and carefully planned development.
We aspire to create a responsible balance between the
needs of our customers and stakeholders, concern for
our environment, the people we affect and a healthy
financial position – a balance that adds value to every
link in the chain.
Furniture that combines a timeless appeal with high
quality is long-lasting furniture and this, too, promotes
sustainability.
Prioritising the use of individual materials over mixtures
and composites facilitates waste sorting and makes it
easier to recycle products and components. We work
tirelessly to influence our suppliers’ choice of raw materials by regulating what is approved for use in production. One example of this is our commitment to help
promote responsible forestry by increasing the share of
FSC certified wood in our products. We have therefore
chosen FSC certification as one way in which we can
make a difference.
We are also working to comply with ISO 26000, an international standard that provides guidelines on how to
work with social responsibility. It is our ambition to follow
these guidelines in order to integrate social responsibility
into all the decisions the company makes and all the
activities in which it is involved.
Skandiform is certified in accordance with ISO 9001,
ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
