LOW LOADERS
Don’t be fooled into thinking all plant trailers are the
same. Having spent 15 years building commercial
vehicle beavertail plant bodies, we have transferred
our knowledge in to our Trailers. Each is generally a
one-off tailored to customer requirements however we
have strived to offer a basic range of trailers with all
your basic requirements built in.

We use only 4” high tensile I-beam for crossmembers,
let into eyelet cutouts in the chassis for ultimate
strength coupled with flexibility. Instead of treated
softwood timber for the floor we will use only 50mm
sawn Keruing hardwood. This is always fitted to the
beavertail section, since steel-tracked machines will
not safely climb smooth steel slopes.
Ramps on the 13T Trailer are generally sprung, and
ramps on the 18T Trailer are generally timbered and
hydraulic. Push-down rear legs are built in to the
ramps, however rear hydraulic legs can be fitted.
Weatherproof lockable storage lockers come as
standard, as do LED lights and an LED rear flashing
beacon. Mudguard/spray suppression can be added,
as too can drop-down sides, bucket storage frames
and side impact rails, along with removable rear bale
wedges for conversion to a flat bed trailer.

Hydraulic Low Loader
All our trailers incorporate a hydraulic mechanism to
raise and lower the axle, with jury struts incorporated.
Mudguards and lights are integral as is hydraulic
braking.
We build our trailers with a full plant body style
channel side rave incorporating chain bars and rope
hooks. Lashing rings can be incorporated into both
the side raves and floor, and ramps can be supplied
as either lift off or fixed pivot on the body. Floors come
as standard with Durbar steel, however timber can be
fitted on request.

BALE TRAILERS
Bale Trailer
Built as a premium product, our Bale Trailers offer a
competitively priced yet highly specified solution to
your transport needs. With a 360mm deep chassis,
underfloor struts, chequer plate floor and 70mm box
section extensions ladders as standard, you can
confidently load our Bale Trailers to the maximum day
after day. Hydraulic brakes, road lighting, parking
brake, drawbar skid and 1,800mm extension ladders
as standard.
Trailers are available with wooden floors (either
Keruing, Larch or 'Switchdecking'), sprung drawbars,
crash rails etc. Please ring to discuss all special builds

Our Waste Bucket Grabs
are built to last and
designed to perform in
the waste re-handling

Bolt-on reversible toe plates come as standard and
the main pivots have bushes fitted. The grab top can
either be one or two-piece construction and armoured

Our heavy duty Grain Pushers are a
'must have' implement for every grain producer.
Used on a suitable telescopic handler or loading
shovel, the piling of grain within the grain store is
improved and speeded up immensely. With a range of
lengths available to suit every need, and the option to
retro-fit or remove intermediate pieces of the frame,
these Pushers will suit a variety of users and
applications.

BUCKETS
We build better buckets
As you may be aware, one of our main competitors
has lost the 'X Form' range of products from their
portfolio and are trying to replace the void in their
range with hastily prepared alternatives. We feel that
the time is ripe to increase awareness of our current
range of Buckets, with their inherent strengths and
design features, along with improvements we have
made through customer demand, that truly set us
ahead of the competition.
All our large Loader/Handler Buckets of type C, D,
DD and E have been subject to carefully considered
improvements that not only look attractive, but also
increase strength, durability and usability. Starting
from the bottom, we now fit Boron heat-treated 420
Brinell hardness toe plates. These are 150x20mm
section in our C and D Range, and 200x25mm
section on our DD and E Range. Our side cutters are
now of a one-piece profiled construction, made from
Abrazo alloy steel 400 Brinell heat-treated plate.
Our side cutters remain flush with the outside of the
bucket for a cleaner dig, and to facilitate shovelling
along a wall.
We notice the omission on some competitors’
buckets of the digging straps used to attach the
mounting brackets to the bucket. Quite simply these
spread the load and stress transmitted through the
bucket from the machine, and the omission, as
proven through experience, causes stress cracks in
the bucket shell. With some users preferring a rolled
back bucket, we can now offer a rolled insert which,
coupled with the square folded shell. increases
bucket strength. Other features are highlighted here.

The large diameter auger coupled with a large central
core enable grass and maize silage to be successfully
mixed and discharged.
Ideally coupled with our unique hydraulic sideshift
assembly, these buckets will easily fill feed troughs in
a minimum of time. All come as standard with
brackets fitted and manual stone trap.

Suitable for feeding concentrates, roots etc. Our
buckets offer a cost-effective solution to the chopping
and feeding of many different feedstuffs. All come as
standard with brackets fitted and customer’s choice
of chopping grid, agitators and stone door (manual or
hydraulic).
Side shift option
Also available is a side shift option enabling the
successful discharge of the bucket into troughs and
down feed fences without driving over the feed, going
back to the centralised position for loading and
transporting.

Snow Plough
Don’t get caught

With blades ranging

and incorporating
our unique 3-way
headstock, you can
fit this machine to
either a 3-point
linkage, ‘A’ frame or pallet forks, enabling customers
to fit to a standard fork-lift for business yard clearing.
Available with a blade that pivots up to 25˚ left or right
and can also be set straight. A reversible rubber edge
comes as standard, but can be replaced with metal,
and either metal skid or castor wheels can be fitted.

SNOW PLOUGH
Bespoke Tractor Mounted
Snow Ploughs
A single-acting hydraulic ram lifts the plough up when
not in use, and lowers on to the pre-set castors using
the float function on the tractor’s hydraulics. This
system is ultimately the best for Snow Plough
attachment as it keeps the Plough mounted close to
the tractor for increased manoeuvrability whilst
removing the need for costly front linkage assemblies.

The Plough can be quickly attached and removed and
can work on any tractor with a single hydraulic spool.

YARD SCRAPER/BALE MOVER
Big Bale Mover
Designed as the ideal tool for moving, stacking and
transportation of large straw bales (especially quadrant
sized), our Big Bale Mover has the capacity to carry up
to 3 quadrant bales at once. Using our unique fold-up
back rests and fold-down tines, this machine can be
packed away into a safe, compact format when
travelling on the highway and can be set up for work in
seconds.
A really useful feature is the pivoting tine rail which
enables retraction of the tines from the bales by use of
the loader crowd control, whilst the back rests hold the
bales steady to avoid

mounted machinery can be both
time consuming and dangerous, and
difficult for a sole operator. Dealer yards and busy
workshops require constant hitching and un-hitching
which wastes a large amount of productive time.
By simply fitting the top linkage pin, our 3 Point
Linkage Mover simply hooks under the top link pin,
rests the bottom links against wooden non-slip pads,
and the handler does the rest. The operator never
needs to leave the machine cab and remains in
complete safety. This implement is a must-have
accessory in yard or workshop. Again shown is a
combined JCB Q Fit and Manitou hitch.

The Splitter can be used
either horizontally or
vertically, with a hydraulic
pivoting mechanism. This
is vital due to the huge
weight of the splitter and
ram. When used vertically the splitting table is at waist
height for much easier working so you are not
constantly bent down. This is perfect when splitting
large rings.

Big Bag Lifters
Our Big Bag Lifters offer
a well made and cost
effective means of
moving 600 and 1,000kg
bags for any purpose.
We only use 41/2” heavy
gauge round tubes with
fully domed ends, unlike
many manufacturers who choose to use square box
section which do not ideally pick up round bag loops.
A wedge stop ensures the bags will easily slip on to
the tubes but will not inadvertently slip off should the
operator tip forwards. The tube centres are matched
to the bags to avoid sway when moving.

All equipment is supplied at the price ruling at the date of despatch. Unless
otherwise stated all prices are exclusive of brackets. Prices are exclusive of

Payment
All invoices are to be paid prior to despatch unless otherwise agreed or
account terms have been implemented. Invoices are to be settled in full as per
our standard conditions.
Specifications

Delivery

Returns

proceeds of an insurance claim in this connection shall belong to Hall

The customer is expressly prohibited from creating any mortgage, charge lien

Guarantee
All new equipment is warranted for a period of twelve months from date of
delivery excluding Tipping trailers which are covered for 5 years. Our
guarantee does not apply to any parts which are not of our make, these parts
will be subject to the supplier’s warranty. Hall Engineering (2008) Ltd. shall not
be liable in any circumstances for any loss, injury or expense, whether direct
or indirect, which may arise for any reason whatsoever in connection with any
goods supplied or work done by Hall Engineering (2008) Ltd.
Warranty
No rectification work is to be carried out prior to notification and authorisation
by Hall Engineering (2008) Ltd. Our warranty may require equipment to be
returned to the manufacturer – Hall Engineering (2008) Ltd.
A price must be agreed and an order number issued before proceeding.
Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations (1998)
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the requirements of these
