July 7-August 2, 2015
LILY ANDERSON (BAD TAP DANCER/TORY/FRONT OF COW) is happy to be back at CCftA
once again as a newsboy in Gypsy. Her last role at CCftA was as the title role in last year’s Annie.
She has also done many shows at Harwich Junior Theatre, including Freckleface Strawberry, The
Hobbit, A Wrinkle in Time, Doctor Dolittle, Neverending Story, and Ramona Quimby. She is
excited to be in this show and hopes you enjoy it as much as she does!
GERALDINE BOLES (MUSIC DIRECTOR/PIANO) is pleased to return to Cotuit Center for
the Arts, having directed the music in Jacques Brel. She directs for several theatre companies,
including Falmouth Theatre Guild and The Barnstable Comedy Club. Past productions include
Damn Yankees, Scrooge, Nine, Pirates of Penzance, Jekyll and Hyde, Sound of Music, Sullivan
& Gilbert, Cabaret, Sunset Boulevard, and most recently, The King and I. A graduate of The
New England Conservatory, Geraldine is a pianist, accompanist, organist, and choral singer; she
teaches piano and theory at her Sandwich studio and is a fully-certified Suzuki method instructor.
Many thanks to David for the opportunity to work with him on this production. Congratulations
to the staff and delightful cast of Gypsy!
ETHAN BROWN (SCENIC DESIGNER) earned his BFA in scenic and lighting design from
Savannah College of Art and Design in 2013. He has worked as a scenic artist at Kingsmen
Shakespeare Company and the Berkshire Theater Festival. Previous design credits include
Gruesome Playground Injuries, The Shop Around the Corner, and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
directed by Sharon Ott, as well as the web show Quahog Corner with John Sullivan.
NICK BUCCHIANERI (DECKHAND) Nick, a sophomore at Sturgis East High School, has really
started to enjoy theatre and the arts over the past year. Having just been part of his school’s
production Antigone, he is hoping to not just crew for shows, but to act in them as well.
Over the past year, he crewed for Grey Gardens, 33 Variations, Annie, and One Flew Over the
Cuckoo’s Nest, all CCftA productions. He hopes he will continue to work at the Center since it’s
such a great community. This fall, Nick will be performing in Sturgis East’s production of Once
on This Island.
AMY CANADAY (COSTUME DESIGNER) enjoys nothing more than building crazy costumes,
so working on the production team of Gypsy! has been a fun and fabulous experience. She
and her glue gun have previously worked on Willy Wonka and Spamalot here at Cotuit Center
for the Arts, as well as The Life and Death of Sherlock Holmes and The Great Gatsby for the
Barnstable High School Drama Club. A resident of Cotuit, Amy would especially like to thank her
family - Dan, Nora, and Declan - for letting her take over the house with costumes-in-progress
and giving her the time to get everything done.
NORA CANADAY (OLDER NEWSBOY/DOLORES) is ecstatic to to be a part of such an
amazing show. She is heavily involved in the Drama Club at Barnstable High School, where she
will be a sophomore in the fall. She also enjoys playing Field Hockey, and has recently been
taking voice lessons. An enthusiastic member of CCftA, she has made appearances on this stage
since 2010, in Bleacher Bums, Willy Wonka, Annie, and a few others -- all such fantastic, fun
productions. She would like to thank the devoted production crew and her fellow cast members
for making Gypsy such a wonderful experience.
RACHEL CORLISS (MARJORIE MAY) is a sophomore at Barnstable High School. She enjoys
singing, dancing, sailing, and swimming. She has been a part of the BHS Drama Club for many
years and is a member of the Chamber Chorus and Vocal Jazz. She has performed in several
productions here at CCftA, where she has had the pleasure to work with so many talented
people. She would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this show happen and
for giving her the opportunity to be a part of it. Also, she would like to thank her family for
always supporting her.

JON CORNET (TULSA) This is Jon’s third show at Cotuit Center for the Arts, after having recently
appeared as Martini in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Rooster in Annie. Jon has also
appeared in several shows at HJT, recently as Jack in Into the Woods, Gmork the Werewolf in The
Neverending Story, and Matt in The Fantasticks. During the day, Jon teaches at Massachusetts
Maritime Academy.
TOM CRUTCHFIELD (WIG AND HAIR STYLIST) Tom hails from Miami, FL, and is a graduate of
Troutman’s Cosmetology College in Wilmington NC. When not performing on stage in Sordid
Lives (and styling 9 wigs for that staged reading), or playing the host in Scary Gary‘s Old Time
Radio Show here at Cotuit, he is behind the scenes doing hair for Grey Gardens or 5 Lesbians
eating a Quiche. He played Drake the Butler in Annie and also did the red hair color on both
of the Annies. Tom will be teaching a class here at Cotuit in October, Fridays from 2-4, on basic
stage makeup and wig care.
DREW DALTON (PAGE TURNER/DECKHAND) Drew is a Barnstable High School Sophomore
who has just finished his first year with Cotuit Center for the Arts. He has helped with Grey

FACB Turns 49, opens on July 31. Christine and the poet/playwright Greg Hischak co-host our
monthly open mic, the popular Salon of Shorts.
MICHAEL ERNST (UNCLE JOCKO/KRINGELEIN/CIGAR/BOURGEON) lives in Forestdale and
is a practicing sculptor and Director of Information Systems at the Woods Hole Research Center.

BONNIE FAIRBANKS (ROSE) Bonnie is thrilled to return to the Cotuit stage for a fourth
summer as the formidable Rose in Gypsy! Cotuit audiences may remember Bonnie in the dual
role of Edith Bouvier Beale/Little Edie Beale in last summer’s Grey Gardens -- a performance
recognized by Cape Cod Times critics as one of the best of 2014. Other CCftA performances
include Dr. Eve Bolinger in Sordid Lives (2015-reading), Yvonne in Unsafe (2015-reading), the
Lady of the Lake in Spamalot (2013), and Muriel Eubanks in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (2012).

and Switzerland companies), and has studied with esteemed faculty at the Boston Conservatory,
Boston University, and the Manhattan School of Music.
KRISTIN FEHLAU (MAZEPPA) Kristin has always loved the stage, whether it was singing in
recitals or performing in a school play, no other place felt more like home. Vocal trained, Kristin
has been in a long list of theater productions growing up such as Meet Me St. Louis, Sound
of Music, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, and Hello Dolly. She graced
the Cape Cod stage for first time this past Winter in CCftA’s The Beat Goes On. Kristin is also
a songwriter, having released an EP titled ”23rd Story” which was recorded at The Musicians
Development Institute in Plymouth, MA in 2001. She was lead singer in Cape Cod’s coverband
”RoShamBo” which ran from 2010-2014. Kristin hopes to perform in new projects in the future,
July 7-August 2, 2015
but for now aspires to focus mainly on theater. You can see her this September in the Center’s
next musical Pirates of Penzance as Ruth.
JOYCE GINOUVES (STAGE MOM/HOTEL GUEST/RENEE/COSTUME SPECIALIST) Joyce studied
both drama and dance as a student and appeared in many theater productions while in school. She

is a private voice student of Norma Atwood. She studies tap here at CCftA and also serves on
our Board of Directors. She founded and is President of the Parkinson Support Network of Cape
Cod. Joyce is delighted to be in this talented cast. Growing up in New York City, she developed

GYPSY
