EMBRACE 18 January–21 April This exhibition explores the work of artists of the 20th century and onwards, focusing on their fascination with the human embrace, depicted through a range of media including painting, sculpture, photography and film. ‘THE HUNT FOR RODIN’S HAT’ TRAIL 14 February–2 March Inspired by the story that sculptor, Auguste Rodin left his hat behind in Cheltenham, join in this ideal family activity and follow clues around the local shops, finding a hat in each one. RODIN’S KISS 14 February–10 August Embrace is inspired by the world-famous romantic iconic sculpture, Auguste Rodin’s The Kiss, returning to Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum after 80 years and celebrating the centenary of Rodin’s visit to Cheltenham.
