A note from your Co-Pilots...
The Senior class of Flight #1414 may now board the aircraft.
But before we depart, we ask that you please take a moment to look back on the
past four years. From the time we first landed at Saint Viator until today, we have traveled together day in and day out. We have been side by side through the fears, tears,
and cheers, and now it is time to say goodbye.
On behalf of Saint Viator Air, we present you with our last issue of the Viator
Voice as a symbol of your journey. We thank you for choosing to travel with us, and
hope to see you again soon. Looks like clear skies in
our final destination, college. It looks like we have a
bright future ahead.
Flight attendants continue with crosscheck
and prepare for departure.
Sincerely your Co-Editors-in-Chief,
Jenny Brandt & Erin Primdahl

SAINT VIATOR
farewells
If you’ve been a student of mine, you will recall that I often use humor to
lighten a tense mood. There’s really no reason to walk the Earth being angry.
Anger never solves problems. I never use humor, though, at the expense of
someone else’s feelings. My first piece of advice is to laugh every day...and laugh
hard. Laugh at yourself, too. No one is perfect. I’m laughing right now that
you’re reading this and considering taking my advice. I’m not perfect. Second,
I have always made a quip that I never entered the educational field to make
money. As a teen, a lot of us think money equates happiness, but the truth is it
doesn’t. It took me all of my 20s to figure this out. Money might buy you cars
and homes, but you will never be truly happy without love. Love God. Treat
each other with love. Find a career you love. Fall in love and love hard, no
matter who it may be with. Know, though, that love is hard work. Work hard,
stay positive, and love.

FAREWELLS
I have enjoyed a unique relationship with the class of 2014 as a staff member and
parent. First and foremost thank you for allowing me the privilege of being a part
of your high school life. The class of 2014 is gifted in many ways – academically,
athletically, socially, and spiritually. You treat each other with respect and kindness.
You have set a good example for future senior classes. Whether you are a student
coming into the Testing Center or a friend of Matt, I have thoroughly enjoyed our
many conversations about school life, dances, college plans and friendships.
Specifically to the girls that frequent the Testing Center: you have enriched and
blessed my life – thank you! I will miss you!
Lastly, I would like to personally thank my Matt for never limiting me; you have
blessed me in more ways than I can count. What joy you have brought me (and
your dad). I will miss our car rides, laughing about silly stuff, and watching you nap!
Congratulations!
