This is one of the reasons why the Government’s support can be particularly helpful in enhancing the opportunities for the best technologies, and why this topic is one of the priorities of the Ministry of the Environment. In developing countries, technology procurement is supported by aid funds, and the countries which offer such aid additionally support their own companies. The development of technologies is based, inter alia, on the results of research and development projects, and needs substantial investment outlays.
