Your Adventure - Our Expertise
www.globebusters.com
Introduction
2014 has been an extraordinary year of challenge
and change, but the highlight for GlobeBusters
was supporting the first ever bikers from Thailand
on their 12,000 mile ride from London back home
to Bangkok. Notwithstanding a mountain of visa
bureaucracy and numerous reticent border
officials who’d never previously seen Thai number
plates, Patima and Pawee arrived home to a hero’s
welcome, realizing a dream that we were privileged
to facilitate.
Introduction
So, when you want to do your dream ride, why leave
it to chance? You need to be with a team that has a
proven track record. One with direct, on the ground
expertise, year in and year out, and an extensive
global network to back it up. A team headed up by
people who are hands-on, passionate about each
destination and involved in each and every ride.
GlobeBusters is that team.
You can see the passion in the pictures in our
brochure, hear it in our rider feedback and you only
have to look at our repeat business to know that
when your ride with GlobeBusters, the chances are
it will not be “once in a lifetime”.
Many come back for more. Others are inspired to
take off on their own – we’ve instilled such a level
of confidence. So it becomes a lifestyle. Just like it
is for us.

Each Expedition / Adventure Tour is labelled with rating for both “Riding Difficulty” and
“Unpaved Roads” (given as a %) allowing itineraries to be matched with individual rider ability.
There is also an “Off the Bike” section detailing other activities, experiences, and sight-seeing
whilst en-route, some of which may incur an additional cost.
[3]
What We Do
We operate two styles of trips:
EXPEDITIONS or ADVENTURE TOURS
What is a Motorcycle Expedition?
l
l
What We Do
l
“Once in a lifetime” motorcycle rides, crossing
continents or epic routes, through the Americas,
Asia and Africa
Expeditions are longer in duration, usually
between 5 – 18 weeks
You use your own motorcycle. We organise the
motorcycle freight
We welcome any make of motorcycle, but we
recommend a minimum 600cc dual purpose bike
is best suited for our Expeditions.
What is an Adventure Tour?
l
l
l
Exciting motorcycle rides on “off the beaten
track” routes in the Americas or Africa
Adventure Tours are shorter duration, usually
between 14 – 21 days
We organise and use local motorcycle hire
Both our Expeditions and Adventure Tours are
fully supported by one or two GlobeBusters
Motorcycle Leaders, with a Support Vehicle
and Driver as back-up.
Kick Start your own World Tour with GlobeBusters!
Our Expeditions can be a great start to your own
extended world trip. Maybe book London to Beijing
and then continue on your own to South East Asia or
join us to ride South America and carry on your own
ride to North America.
You get the benefits of our pre-trip briefings
before you go.
[5]
Why Choose Us?
We do all the detail and difficult stuff - you just have the ride of your life!
Over the past 16 years, GlobeBusters Founder and
Double Guinness World Record™ Holder for Global
Motorcycling, Kevin Sanders, has ridden more than
half a million miles around the planet, both
independently and leading groups.
Why Choose Us?
His exploits have taken him down the entire length
of the Americas on eight occasions, six times across
China and Central Asia, two circumnavigations of
the world, (one leading the longest continuous
upported motorcycle expedition ever operated), the
Trans-Siberian Highway, as well as numerous other
rides in Africa, Australia, South East Asia and
South America.
In addition to Kevin’s experience, our hand-picked
support team all of whom are seasoned global
travellers, are perfectly placed to provide the very
best of support, guaranteeing the ride of your life.
To put it simply, our amassed knowledge, experience
and expertise is second to none.

Remember! When embarking on the motorcycling
adventure of a lifetime, you need to be certain that
you are going with an operator who has a proven
track record, established global networks and
first-hand experience of the routes and regions you
are riding in.
WE ARE THAT TEAM
This Is What We Do
Packing and Planning
We deliver pre-trip briefings, packing lists, guidance
notes and document checklists to prepare you and
your bike, ensuring you are ready to go.
Motorcycle Freight
For our Expeditions, we take care of the motorcycle
freight. Just drop your bike off with our agent. Even if
you are based outside the UK, we can assist.
Ride your Own Way
We give you the freedom to self-navigate and ride
your own ride. We supply detailed daily notes, GPS
co-ordinates and GPS mapping. Alternatively, relax
and follow your Motorcycle Leader.
Motorcycle Hire
For our Adventure Tours, we co-ordinate with the
local rental agency and ensure that your bike is
waiting at the hotel for your arrival.
Mechanical Breakdown or Crash Damage
We have a Support Vehicle and Driver to assist in
case of on the road problems. If we can’t fix it, we
will carry you and your bike to the nearest workshop
and / or order parts for you.
Visas
We work with our specialist visa agency and have
an online system for ordering exactly what you need,
in advance of travel, irrespective of nationality.
Servicing & Tyres
On Expeditions, things wear out, so we pre-book bike
servicing at main dealerships (where available) en
route. We also pre-order tyres for you.
Itinerary
We provide detailed itineraries, with pre-booked
accommodation. If something unforeseen happens,
then we re-plan all hotels and new routings.
Emergency
If it’s a minor injury or illness, with quick recovery
time, then we carry you and your bike in the Support
Vehicle until you are ready to ride again.
Borders
We tell you what documents you need. We know
every border we use and we know the processes.
We get you through.
For anything more serious, we get you to the
nearest medical facility and will implement your
travel insurance policy. We’ll notify any family
members you’ve asked us to and we will ensure that
plans are in place for your repatriation, if necessary.
We assist with repatriation of your bike too.
Why Choose Us?
Carnet de Passage
If you need it for the trip, we get it for you. It’s included.
GlobeBusters Support Team
We provide a team of highly skilled, dedicated
and enthusiastic individuals to support your ride.
Whatever challenges en route, our aim is to find
a solution and keep you going.

Southern Africa
Southern Africa
Highlights
This journey is the very essence of Africa, with
natural wonders, big five wildlife and indigenous
tribes . . . and the slow pace of life that says “This
is Africa”. Amidst the emptiness of the Skeleton
Coast, the thunder of Victoria Falls, the scent of the
Zanzibar spices, watching a giraffe cross your path
or playing football on the shores of Lake Malawi,
Africa roads will be as unpredictable, inspiring and
challenging as African life itself.
Off the Bike
Game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, stroll through
old Stone Town and the spice markets of Zanzibar,
game drive in Etosha National Park, river cruise
down the Chobe to see wild elephant and hippo,

the rhythms playing African drums, explore Victoria
Falls, walk with the lions, taste the excellent wines

“Riding an adventure is great. Riding and
knowing somebody behind you to back you
up is better. And riding and knowing that on
arrival, all is organised with the best
available, is really what you are looking for”.
