Upon the completion of the NARC in mid 2013 the Regional Clinical Practice Research Centre will share space with the Sunshine Coast Hospital & Health Service Research Office, the University of the Sunshine Coast and the Sunshine Coast Clinical School. Architects impression – Nambour Academic and Research Centre In 2012 the Research Board and Health Service restructured the Clinical Trials team and processes. Combined with the opening of the NARC, this will enable an increase in clinical trials and conduct of original clinical research studies. The Centre experienced a significant increase in research activity throughout 2012 which is evidenced by the below snapshot.
