We want to offer camp programs that give our campers and their families’ precious moments of independence, exploration, respite and fun. Exciting and carefully planned activities present campers with opportunities to try new activities, to build on skills they have already developed and to foster new friendships in a supportive and cooperative setting. Our camp staff have been carefully selected and trained to provide the best quality of care for your camper. Camp is a place where you can step outside your everyday lives and discover who you can be. In addition to all the benefits for our campers, camp is a wonderful opportunity for respite for all of the parents/caregivers. Club Lily is an awesome camp experience for adults 18 and up with any disability. Our goal during camp is to offer our campers a variety of experiences that will foster independence, allow adventure and enhance socialization all while having fun! Our creative and diverse programming, designed to incorporate all campers no matter the age or disability, includes the climbing wall, zip line, boating, fishing, arts and crafts, games, sports, pool time, camp fires, special evening activities and more. Our trained and experienced counselors work with campers to promote skill-building, teamwork, friendship and fun. At Club Lily we encourage our campers to try new activities and challenge themselves. We hope to see you at camp this year! Our Club Lily camp is for adults of all functioning levels. We staff the camp at a 1:3, counselor to camper ratio. It is a week of fun and excitement that is sure to amp up your summer! Activities during the week include camp fires, arts and crafts, swimming, group games, a climbing tower, canoeing, the giant swing, special evening activities and so much more. All of these experiences give campers endless opportunities to gain increased independence, enhanced self-esteem, as well as the ability to work in a group setting and the development of new interests and friendships. However, the main goal of Camp Amp is fun. We want every camper to have a great week of camp and leave with lasting memories of the wonderful time they had. Be sure to check out this year’s camp! We will be offering two sessions of Camp Amp, however please note that the sessions will be held at different locations so be sure to look at the location before registering for a session. Day campers attend their camp for 6 to 7 hours a day of jam-packed excitement. Our day campers experience a wide variety of activities from crafts and sports to special events and group projects. Our low counselor to camper ratios ensure that there will be trained counselors engaging your camper and offering them support and encouragement throughout the entire day. Day camp families provide their own transportation to and from camp everyday, and campers bring a packed lunch with them. Snacks, program supplies and equipment are provided. Please be sure to look at the details for each camp because times, ages, and days differ for each camp. Day campers may register for any number of sessions with a non-refundable deposit per week. 5 york county day camp ages 5-21 Our 6 week, York County day camp, specifically designed for those with disabilities, is set to be both fun and educational for all who participate! Each day of camp will operate from 8:30am – 3:30pm at the Church of the Open Door. Campers will learn and participate within a setting that includes challenges, outdoor fun and building social relationships. Themed days/weeks include activities that will engage campers of all levels such as arts and crafts, group games, sensory activities, snack time, water play days, field trips and special guests. There will be 45 registrations accepted for each week of camp. With Easter Seals’ long history of quality programming, please be sure to register early to guarantee your spot. Please note that campers are expected to be able to follow verbal cues and directions. Campers needing one-on-one behavioral support as well as those that may have a fragile medical condition will be required to have a non parental support person, over the age of 18, at each day of camp. Let your child join in the fun and adventure of a day camp this summer, where social experiences can be positive and memorable. The ACES camp focuses on activities that are so often enjoyed while encouraging social interaction, building friendships and trying new activities in a comfortable and relaxed environment. The camp is split into age groups (ages 10-22) and runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for three weeks. Each group is managed by specially trained staff members who are experienced with the needs of a child with Asperger’s syndrome and high-functioning autism. Schedules with the facilities and themes will be distributed after registration and closer to the start of the camp. The camp will run 9am – 3pm except for some special occasion days.
