HOW TO SETUP FSPASSENGERS
This guide will help you get your FSPassengers setup properly for PVA use.
Please make sure your Flight Simulator is not running at this time.
Once you log into your PVA account, you will be redirected to your profile page.
From this page, scroll down to the Profile Dashboard (Fig. 1) and download your FSPax .cfg file.

You will now be shown a download dialog box. (Fig.2)

Open the main FS folder, then open the FsPassengers folder and save it in the Config_va folder. (Fig. 3)

CREATING A NEW COMPANY & PILOT
This next step is optional. If you do not want to setup a new company and pilot, please skip to page 8.
Pull up your Flight Simulator cockpit menu.
Click “Create new Company and Pilot” from the FsPassengers drop-down menu

You will be shown a box similar to this.

Click “Create new company”

Fill out the information as you want (does not have to be PVA Company)

Click “Next Step”.

Place a dot next to “Scenario Setting” and click “Next Step”

Choose “1. International Company” then click “Finish – Create Company”

NOTE: The Start Cash shown (Fig. 8) is the maximum allowed by FsPassengers. If you want to set this
amount, you need to exit now and set it in the “config” folder in FsPassengers (Main FS folder). Then
restart your Flight Simulator and start back from page 3.
Once you created your company, you will need to create a new pilot. This step is pretty self explanatory, so I will
not show this step.

ADDING AIRCRAFT TO YOUR COMPANY
Pull up your Flight Simulator cockpit menu.
Click “Company Manager” from the FsPassengers drop-down menu. (Fig. 9)

Click “Buy current FS Plane” (Fig. 10)

NOTE: The next screen (not pictured) will give you several aircraft to choose from. If you purchase a used
aircraft, you will need to make sure that you keep this aircraft maintained more often than you would a
brand new one. Of course a newer aircraft is more expensive to purchase, so make sure you have enough
money to buy it. (see page 7)

SETTING UP YOUR FLIGHT
Pull up your Flight Simulator cockpit menu.
Click “Start Flight – Load Current Aircraft” from the FsPassengers drop-down menu.(Fig. 11)

The next screen will show you the Gate Information (unless you have this set as disabled from the setup menu).

Click OK to go to the next page.

From this page, you will need to setup your aircraft for flight. If you are flying a “Passenger” flight, do not add any
cargo, as this is just unnecessary weight you will need in your aircraft. If you are flying a “Cargo” flight, do not add
any passengers.
Now you will need to add fuel to your aircraft. To do this, left-click and hold the fuel slider (green) to the left or right
to add/remove fuel to to your aircraft. If you want to configure which tanks get what amount of fuel, click “Advanced
Fuel”.

From the drop-down tab, change this setting to “Normal Flight”
Place a check in the box so you don't have to set this option anymore, then click “Set Flight Type” to save your
settings.

Now that you are back to the “Load Aircraft – NORMAL FLGIHT” page, click “Set Destination”.

Although this step is optional, I recommend that you set it for each flight.

Type the destination IACO code in the box, and set your flight duration time using the drop-down menus then click
“OK – Set Destination”
A female announcer will now say “Destination Set” when you click the button.

Now you can click “Flight & Aircraft Settings”

NOTE: This step is required before every flight in order to be able to export your flight to the website. If
this step is not setup correctly, your flight will be rejected.

Enter your flight number into the text box and click “Set Flight ID”

NOTE: You MUST enter the airline IATA code (2-digit alphanumeric) as well as the flight number. There are
no spaces between the Airline IATA and the flight number.

You now have your flight ready for processing into the FsPassengers program. To process your flight, you are
presented with two (2) options.
1. Load Immediately – To load immediately, skips the loading/boarding process, and immediately starts your flight
(ready for Push-Back)
2. Real Time Load – Real Time Load will simulate the loading process using real-time (2-20 minutes). After the
timer has counted down to 0, the program will start automatically (You can finish setting up your aircraft during this
process).

EXPORTING YOUR FLIGHT TO PVA
Once you have landed at your destination airport, taxi to the gate, set your parking brake and open the door.
You can now end your flight (Fig. 22)
You are now presented with your completed flight statistics page for you to review. You can click Save Flight at this
time.
FsPassengers will now set you back in your cockpit. Go back to the menu to send your flight to Phoenix Virtual
Airways.

Click “Export Flight To VA”
NOTE: Make sure that you are sending your flight to Phoenix Virtual Airways. If the Config_VA folder has
any other files in there, this list will show all available Virtual Airlines (even the FsPassengers website)

This screen will show you all the information you need to send your flight to the website. Double-check to make
sure all the information is correct before you export to the site. Once all the information is correct, choose which
flights you want to export and click “Export Now”
NOTE: You cannot export your flight to Phoenix Virtual Airways using FsPassengers & PVA ACARS. If you
export using both programs, only one will be used and the other (copy) will be deleted. PLEASE DO NOT
SEND BOTH COPIES TO WEBSITE
