Complete an Admission Application
Apply to CCBC for free online at ccbc.edu/ApplyOnline.
Paper applications are available at the Information and Registration Center, located in the
Student Services Center.
Work with your counselor to submit any that apply:
• SAT and/or ACT scores
• Transient students must submit transient/off-campus course approval form(s)
when registering for classes.

Visit Campus
Begin your college journey by touring campus and learning about the services that
are available to help you succeed. Take some time to navigate through our virtual
student success tool kit at ccbc.edu/toolkit. It will provide you with important
information, valuable resources and campus contacts, as well as guide you through
services, policies, and procedures relevant to you.

If you are applying to a program with special admissions requirements, an information session is
required. Contact us to make an appointment. Review our programs of study at

Scholarships
We offer full-tuition scholarships to the top seniors in all school districts in Beaver County, as
well as athletic scholarships, CCBC Foundation scholarships, and more. For more information

Take the Placement Test
New students are required to take the placement test, a series of short
exams in English, math, and reading.
In order to be placed in college-level courses, you must meet the required placement test score
for each section. Those scoring below the required scores will be placed in preparatory courses.
Placement Test Schedule, Procedure and Exceptions
Please refer to ccbc.edu/AdmissionsProcess for the most up-to-date schedule of
placement test dates and times.
Placement tests are given in the Learning Resources Center. You should bring your acceptance
letter, which contains your required ID number, to the testing area at least 15 minutes prior to
the scheduled time of the test. If you are an individual with a disability, please contact the Supportive Services Office at 724-480-3502 if you wish to request accommodations for the placement test. *Exceptions: Students scoring 450 Critical Reading, 450 Writing, and 450 Math on SAT or 19
Reading, 18 English, or 22 Math on ACT exams taken within the past 5 years are exempt from taking the
placement test Students who have completed English and/or Math courses at another accredited institution and have submitted official transcripts to the Information & Registration Center are not required to
take the placement test in those subject areas. Students exempt from the placement test should contact
the Counseling office at 724-480-3421 to make an appointment to schedule courses.

Schedule Classes
After taking the placement test, you receive test scores and complete course
placement test scores will not be released over the phone.

Register for Classes and Pay
Show proof of residency and process your registration in person at the
Information and Registration Center.
Congratulations, you’re now a CCBC Student! Tuition payment completes the registration
process. We accept cash, personal check, money order, American Express, MasterCard, VISA,
Registration Center for tuition due dates.
