Taking them from the Blackpool Tower, to the London Tower, and on to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the12-man team rode 800 miles in 8 days. Clocking an average of 90 miles per day, the courageous riders began intensive preparation training in February with a coach and a physiotherapist. The group accrued 50 sponsors for the trek by Franchisee Ricky Kandola, and actually pedaled by novice cyclist Sehmar, who personally raised nearly $4,000 (U.S.). The challenge celebration on Sunday, July 22nd, attended by 1,000 people featuring a family fun day BBQ. The bike was auctioned at the UK Rally with proceeds to be donated to Partners; all donations raised will be presented to the 2012.
