About Arizona Association of
RV Parks and Campgrounds
(AZ ARVC)
Our Vision Statement
To promote and support our members and the
Outdoor Hospitality Industry through education,
communication and representation.
Our association has been around for over 40 years. Arizona ARVC has
been helping the Campground and RV industry in Arizona to thrive and
has been working to protect the rights of ownership and free enterprise.
We have represented the industry in various tourism related associations and are responsible for the rural logo signage available on nonfreeway highways around the state.
Why Should I Attend?
Attending the annual convention will give you and your employees the
opportunity to network with peers and learn skills that are essential in
making your business successful. You will also get insight into current
products and services specifically targeted to RV Parks.
While you're here, you will learn about the benefits of being a
member and saving potentially thousands of dollars in discount
"member only" programs.
Do I have to be a current member of
AZ ARVC to attend the convention?
No. The Association welcomes all owners, managers and employees
of RV Parks and Campgrounds to attend the convention, regardless of
membership status.

Keeping the Peace--Conflict Management
This session will explore the use of tactical communications approaches used by police agencies to understand, diffuse, and
resolve problems at the lowest effective level. This session is
perfect for anyone in frequent contact with guests or employees.
Paul Bambei
Learn what your National Association is doing for you and how
you can take advantage of the benefits of belonging. Paul will
also be sharing marketing ideas we can all use in our business.
We’re on Facebook! Now What?!?
Last year Nicole and Jordan helped you set up your Facebook
page and taught you the basics. This year we will show you how
to market your park using Facebook. You will learn strategies on
how to engage your audience and reach your target market. This
will be an interactive session where we problem solve and brainstorm on the spot! Let’s work together to make our social media
mark!
Upgrading your park
George O’Leary, Harvey Mickelson and Dan O’Connell, longtime RV park creators and owners, will give you tips and ideas on
how to upgrade your older park to keep up with the demands of
the “new generation” of RVers.
