MOREHEAD
PLANETARIUM AND SCIENCE CENTER
VISITOR GUIDE
Visitor and Accessibility Information for
Morehead Planetarium and Science Center
Welcome to Morehead, the first planetarium on
a university campus in the United States. As you
enter Morehead, you walk in the footsteps of Neil
Armstrong and 61 other astronauts who came
here to learn about astronomy and space science.
Today, Morehead has expanded its mission as
a comprehensive science center. You might
learn about new discoveries in medicine,
nanotechnology, environmental science and
other areas of research at the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill.
