The student shall forfeit his/her chance to exercise his/her option. The school shall allocate his/her class and subject combinations depending on merit and availability. 2) Can an appeal be made if a student did not get his/her choices? Yes, an appeal can be made within the stated appeal period. However, the success of the appeal is based on merit, specific subject criteria and vacancy. Entry into Polytechnic Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) What is PFP? A one-year practice-oriented curriculum to prepare top Sec 4NA students for entry into relevant diploma course at the polytechnic. Entry into Polytechnic Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) Application: Eligible N(A) students will be invited to apply for the Polytechnic Diploma courses of their choice after the release of their N-Level results. 2. Entry into ITE College 2 possible ways After doing well for the N-level examinations – Opt for the Direct Entry Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP) After taking the N-level examinations – Enrol in a NITEC course Entry into ITE Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP) What is DPP? A Two-year Higher Nitec Course at the ITE, which subsequently guarantees a place in a mapped polytechnic diploma course if you achieve the qualifying Grade Point Average (GPA) scores in the Higher Nitec Course.
