At Javic Homes, our goal is to create one-of-a-kind homes through innovative design, comfort and efficiency.
Since 2001, we have designed and built some of the area’s most extraordinary custom homes.
Javic Homes is the only member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program for the Tampa Bay and Sarasota area.
This program is made up of 100 of the South’s most reputable builders. Southern Living carefully selects members based on
their exceptional reputation; strong market presence; quality craftsmanship; and innovative design. We are honored to be
a member of this outstanding group.
We are delighted to present the 2015 Southern Living Custom Builder Showcase Home. The home highlights the best of
Javic Homes’ capabilities while celebrating the best parts of Southern lifestyle like only Southern Living can do. A key
part of this Southern tradition lies in the warmth with which Southerners greet guests and strangers alike into their home.

The team at Javic Homes
designed this year’s Showcase
Home in a traditional Southern
style to blend into the charm of
the other Southern Living homes in
the Brookside neighborhood. The
front exterior boasts a welcoming
front porch with an entry door and
shutters with a pop of color
contrasted against the white siding
of the home. The front bay window is accented by metal roofing
while the window above shouts for
attention with a colorful floor box.
Once inside, the home’s layout is
well suited for a large family and
entertaining with a formal
dining, study, master suite and
open kitchen/family room all on
the 1st level. Secondary bedrooms
and a large bonus room are all
located on the 2nd floor.
Heading out the back, the home
has two covered patios that introduces the expansive rear yard
complete with an outdoor kitchen
and an exciting water and fire wall.

DESIGNERS
Javic’s in-house design team of Missi McCombs and Laura Coleman were fortunate to work with a talented group of
designers. Design Interiors, led by owner Mary Jo Polo for the Great Room, Dining, Den, and Bed #3; Pat Pankow
Interiors for the Master Suite and Breakfast Nook; and Tutto V’s Principle Designer Vicky Auger for Bed #4.
