Aqualud Water Park
• With the temperature kept at 27°C under its
glass pyramid, visitors can enjoy water slides
like The Black Hole and Twister even while it's
bucketing down outside.
• The brave can shoot out of a serpent's mouth
at 70 kilometres per hour, enjoy Rock River
and the delights of the water cannon.

Nausicaa
• It's a sea life centre with a difference - there
are 400 species of fish. Themed areas include a
California reserve where you can walk through
large glass tunnels and see sea lions swim
around and under you. Take the tour of the
Tropics with its multi-coloured fish and crystal
clear lagoon before moving on to the open sea
pool with its coral reef, snappers and sharks.

Safety Issues
• Pupils will be in groups of approx 10 pupils, each with their
own adult group leader.
• In Aqualud, Nausicaa , Boulogne. there will be a meeting
point with a member of staff present all the time.
• Pupils will be given a school mobile phone number so that
they can contact me at any time.

Please pack sensible comfortable clothing.
You may bring one large sports bag or case and one piece of hand luggage.
You should bring your own towels. Remember to bring one for swimming too.
Remember to bring Suntan cream & a hat.
Bring about £10 in English currency and about £50 worth of Euros. You will need money for any
snacks and souvenirs you may wish to buy. South Wolds cannot be held responsible for
loss/theft of any money.
If you suffer from travel sickness, please remember medication bands etc. Ensure you bring
enough to cover you for the whole trip as we will be travelling a lot by coach.
Bring enough packed lunch for the whole of the first day and water too.
You are responsible for any Ipods, mobiles, Cd players etc. South Wolds cannot be held
responsible for loss/damage to these items.
If you are on medication, please label it clearly and hand it to a member of staff.
Don’t forget to charge your mobile phone, set roaming service and bring your charger.
Remember to bring at least one adapter plug.
Boys are allowed to wear swim boxers or speedos only at Aqualud (no shorts please!)
Girls – no bikinis please. These are not appropriate.
Swimming caps do not have to be worn at Aqualud.
Be careful crossing the roads as the traffic will be coming from the opposite direction.
Remember to look both ways when crossing all roads.
Zebra crossings. French car drivers do not automatically stop at zebra crossings.
Be aware of people around you & pick pockets.
Please remember all planned activities are subject to change. Depending on weather or other
circumstances.
Finally enjoy yourself, be sensible and responsible. Remember you are representing your school.
Finally try to use your French skills as much as you can.
