mix and the palate has black plum depth with at the back a fresher feel

lovely complex mix of flavours. The red and black fruits linger on the
finish.” Ideal with blue cheese, red meat, and game birds.

flinty citrus at the back. The mix of flavours lasts well on the finish.”

Derek Smedley Master of Wine: “The red fruits on the nose are quite
rich some red cherries some wild strawberries yet there is freshness
at the back more of a redcurrant character. Rich and sweet fruited

fruits give a lighter feel bringing out hints of black pepper.” Ideal

tannins are firm but fine with a nice mix of fruits coming through on the
finish.” 4 months in new French and American oak (50/50). Ideal with

and gives depth of flavour on the start of the palate. Under the cassis

Derek Smedley Master of Wine: “Color cereza con borde granate, limpio.
potente, buen tostado y tanino maduro y amable.

“Blackberry, cassis and dusty aromas get this full-bodied SyrahMonastrell off to a great start. This is staunch and well built, with
firm tannins and dark, masculine flavours of blackberry, black
currant, pepper and a hint of salt. A gutsy finish is powerful but
balanced. This is impressive for the price.”
Fruta roja fresca
y escarchada, sabroso, con buena viveza, estructurado, buen
final, franco.”
“This is a superb value. The nose on this Syrah-Monastrell blend
revolves around dusty berry and plum, while the palate is juicy,
ripe, smooth and shows herb, spice and pulsing blackberry
flavours. Doses of mint and hard spices carry a long finish to a
warm resting point.”
“This Monastrell-heavy blend hits with a ton of ripe berry aromas,
Graham cracker and minerality on the bouquet. In the mouth, it’s
creamy and syrupy, with jutting tannins. Flavours of lactic oak,
stewed black fruits and carob finish chocolaty and creamy, with
mild tannins and heat.”
