Ibex Outdoor Clothing Introduces Next Generation of
Wool Aire Insulation
WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, VT. (January 7, 2015) – For Fall 2016, Ibex Outdoor
Clothing unveils its next generation of Wool Aire with versatile styles that bridge
active and lifestyle design. Ibex’s new Wool Aire collection offers breathable, durable,
lightweight warmth in a wider array of Wool Aire options for men and women.
Ibex has re-imagined Wool Aire for Fall 16 with a new 100-percent Wool Compact
Insulation that is softer, warmer and loftier and made from 23 micron, U.S.-sourced
wool. Ibex’s extended Wool Aire collection also boasts a new Aire Shell made from
22 Denier ripstop, 100-percent recycled poly with a DWR finish.
The evolution of Wool Aire means more options in more conditions, using wool
insulation technology more creatively.

its launch. Updated for Fall 16 with new Wool Loft insulation and Aire Shell fabric, the

Ibex Outdoor Clothing Adds Proprietary Wool Fabrics
to its Collection for Fall 2016
WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, VT. (January 7, 2015) — Ibex Outdoor Clothing has
built its foundation on its tried and true Merino wool fabrics with franchise favorites
including Shak, Indie and Woolies. Continually innovating to create the best
performance wool fabrics, Ibex builds on its iconic fabrics and introduces unique wool
blends to its stable of proprietary fabrics for Fall 2016.
Ibex’s new Fall 2016 wool fabrics deliver functional, classically-stylish garments for
outdoor enthusiasts who demand performance from their apparel at all times. Ibex
garments are constructed with the best fabrics and sustainable materials and offer
versatility and style that easily transitions from town to the trail.
Made from a blend of 60-percent 19.5 micron Merino wool and 40-percent poly,
Ibex’s Waffle Knit insulates and breathes, and feels as though it were crafted in a
lab with its symmetrical criss-cross pattern. However, the Ibex’s Waffle Knit conveys
an organic sense of warmth and comfort not found in synthetic options.
The 205 gram, mid-weight Waffle adds texture and depth to the men’s and women’s
Waffle Knit Henley; the women’s Waffle Knit Hoody; and slouchy women’s Waffle
Knit Bottoms.
In collaboration with small-bath jeans producer Noble Denim, Ibex is mapping out
better jeans with the creation of its new Merino Wool Denim fabric. Sewn and
developed in Noble’s Tennessee shop, the new lightweight, brushed back twill Wool
Denim men’s pant is made from 60-percent wool and 40-percent cotton (a blend that
is 8.7 oz. lighter than traditional denim pants).
Ibex’s new Wool Denim Noble Collab pants offer rugged simplicity, durability,
comfort and warmth. Details include copper rivet and buttons and a Wickett & Craig

Available in three new women’s lifestyle sweaters, Dyad is a mid-weight, reversible
double knit blend comprising 96-percent Merino wool and 4-percent nylon for
reinforcement. The luxuriously soft and versatile fabric is available in the women’s
Dyad Cowl Neck ($185 MSRP); Women’s Dyad Long Sweater ($220 MSRP); and the
Women’s Dyad Cardigan ($200 MSRP).
Ibex’s new women’s Dolce travel pant and Dolce Legging is made from Plyo, a midweight stretch knit composed of a blend of 32-percent Rayon; 30-percent wool; 30percent Nylon; and 8-percent Spandex for stretch and recovery. The synthetic
content of the fabric produces sleek lines and a flattering fit that won’t bag out.
