BUSES:
Regularly scheduled buses operate at frequent intervals to most of the destinations
throughout Bermuda which visitors find of interest. There is a Central Bus Terminal
on Washington Street in Hamilton, just off Church Street and a few steps east of
the City Hall & Arts Centre. Bus stops are designated throughout the Island either
by pink or blue poles – solid Pink inbound to the City of Hamilton; solid Blue
outbound from the City of Hamilton.
Bus Fares: Passengers must have the exact fare in coins – paper currency
of any denomination will not be accepted on the bus. The more popular and
convenient Tokens and Transportation Passes can be purchased at both the
Central Bus Terminal in Hamilton and the Hamilton Ferry Terminal, at some
hotels and guest houses and at the Visitor Information Centres located in
the Town of St. George and R.N. Dockyard.
