There is a Central Bus Terminal on Washington Street in Hamilton, just off Church Street and a few steps east of the City Hall & Arts Centre. Bus stops are designated throughout the Island either by pink or blue poles – solid Pink inbound to the City of Hamilton; solid Blue outbound from the City of Hamilton. Bus Fares: Passengers must have the exact fare in coins – paper currency of any denomination will not be accepted on the bus. The more popular and convenient Tokens and Transportation Passes can be purchased at both the Central Bus Terminal in Hamilton and the Hamilton Ferry Terminal, at some hotels and guest houses and at the Visitor Information Centres located in the Town of St. George and R.N. Dockyard.
