Each student is required to enter a minimum of two or a maximum of 10 photographs. The subject matter is an older person of your choice. The images will need to be in a digital format so they can be entered into the competition, these can be emailed, brought in on a pen drive or uploaded to your school google account. Every student will have one image professionally printed and displayed in our mini art exhibition at Calf Club. FutureDatesandReminders Basic Facts Test – congratulations to Sally Rose, Toby, Avah, Taleisha, Summer, Aden, Porsha, Riley, Theo and Rongo who have continued to improve their basic facts scores – a great demonstration of tenacity! A special mention to these students who scored 100% - Brooklyn, Joshua, Our Year 3 and 4 netball team played superbly last week coming away with second place for their grade! Well done and thanks again to Ellisa and Ashleigh for coaching our teams this year. Thanks also to those who provided transport to ensure our kids get to participate in these events! Waiuku Veterinary Centre will be offering free tail docking, castration and vaccination for registered calf club animals on the afternoons of Tuesday the 23rd of August and Thursday the 25th of August. This will take place from 3.30pm until 5pm on both days at Waiuku Veterinary Centre, 17 Kitchener Rd, Waiuku. It will be a good chance for you to chat to a vet and get advice on calf club animal rearing. All welcome! CALF CLUB Thanks to everyone for confirming entries, bringing groceries for mufti etc. Our next mufti day will be on Friday 19th August where we are asking families to bring store cupboard items like flour, pasta, sugar etc. Chop Chop Vocab!
