Let Jesus’ love shine through
in everything we do.
Paddy, Jasmine and Rohun love going to
St Aidan’s Catholic Primary Academy
What happens when
I get to school?
Jasmine, Paddy and
Rohun are excited
to get to school!
Jasmine hangs up her
coat on her own peg…
Paddy puts his book-bag in a box with other book-bags…
…and Rohun leaves his
water bottle on a table,
with bottles from all
the other children.

How will I make friends?
Paddy, Rohun and Jasmine became friends by playing with each other.
They like to make things in the playground.
“Let me help you,” Rohun says to Paddy.
“Can I put this box on top?” asks Jasmine.
“Great idea,” says Paddy, to both his new best friends!

What games do you like to play with your friends?

What if I’m hungry?
Rohun, Jasmine and Paddy
love eating fruit at
mid-morning snack time.
Jasmine has her water
bottle with her.
At lunchtime you will choose the food you like and dinnerladies will
put it on your plate. Jasmine and Rohun are having a hot meal,
while Paddy eats from a packed lunch his dad made. He has cheese
sandwiches and an apple.

What is your favourite food?

Paddy puts up his
hand to ask to go
to the toilet.
What if I need the toilet?
Paddy goes to the toilet on
his own…but forgets to tuck
his shirt in.
“Wait a moment,” the adult
says, “I’ll help you tuck your
shirt back in.”
Jasmine washes her hands after going to
the toilet. Her hands smell nice and soapy! 8
Can you go to the toilet on your own?

What happens in the playground?
At playtime you can go outdoors to a
special playground and play things like
skipping, tag and do lots of running
around with your friends. Grown-ups will
help you if you don’t know what to play.
Rohun makes a new friend, called “I love playtime,” says Jasmine, as she
Sally, at the ‘Friendship Stop’. plays in the wooden train with Paddy.

Before we all go home, we say prayers to
thank God for keeping us safe at school,
and for helping us enjoy ourselves!
Rohun, Jasmine and
Paddy can’t wait to
come back for another
day at school!
