Certification provides proof of fulfilled goals in energy and water use, local environment, material use, and indoor climate. Buildings store heat and cold in an aquifer - a huge groundwater reservoir, like a thermos, where heating and cooling can be stored, according to season. Groundwater is pumped up via a borehole and a heat exchanger cools buildings in summer and warms them in winter. This saves us enormous amounts of energy. All of our leases are green - by mutual agreement with our tenants we use concrete measures to reduce environmental burdens. This includes environmentallly conscious product choices, reduced energy consumption, increased recycling of waste, and choosing environmental and climate-friendly transport.
