School Production News
As the School Production is fast approaching, it is time for
all students to bring their costumes into school. These will
be collected and stored in the classroom so all will be
ready on the day of 10th September.
To help make this process easier, please send your costume in a bag with your child’s name clearly marked on
the outside. Below is a list of what each grade needs to
bring. Please start bringing them from the 31st August
2015.

We are having our annual Father’s Day Stall on THURSDAY 3rd
September. There is a wonderful selection of gifts to choose
from, ranging from $0.50 to $5.00 with a maximum of $5.00
per child. We please ask that the younger children have their
money in a named envelope with the amount they can spend. If
you do not wish to participate in our stall could you please
inform your child’s teacher and your child so that we do not
have any unnecessary tears on the day.
Thank you for your support,
Parents and Friends Committee.

Commonwealth Bank school banking – Cosmic Light
Beam torch recall
Concerns have been raised regarding the ‘Cosmic Light Beam Torch’ reward item due to the inclusion of four button batteries
that can be accessed by unscrewing the back of the torch.
Whilst this reward has been independently tested and deemed to meet relevant product standards, the Commonwealth Bank
have made the decision to proactively withdraw this item from the School Banking Rewards program.
Parents/Guardians are requested to dispose of any ‘Cosmic Light Beam Torches’ their child may have already received as part
of the Rewards Program. Students who have previously requested a ‘Cosmic Light Beam Torch’ are welcome to redeem an
alternative reward item by sending a note with their child’s banking specifying their chosen replacement reward.
If you have any further queries, please contact our school banking coordinator, Nicole Lloyd, on 0438 877 818 or by email,
schoolbanking@redlands.qld.edu.au
CANTEEN NEWS
We are going to trial 2 lines for children when purchasing over the counter at lunch time.
One line is for
The other line is for
Prep/1 & 2’s.
3, 4, 5 & 6’s
Please let your child know this if they are purchasing a
snack at lunchtime
Hopefully this will help with the congestion students are currently experiencing,
and also making it easier for our volunteers who are serving.
Thankyou P & F
