Barcelona
Barcelona is situated on the north-east coast of Spain.
Its vibrant cosmopolitan population and economic
importance make it one of the most dynamic cities on
the Mediterranean.
It offers a rich combination of culture, art and history,
where the Gothic Quarter stands alongside the most
contemporary art, architecture and design, all now
open to the seafront.
Barcelona is a centre of international cultural interest,
housing amongst others, the Picasso and Miró
museums and the fantastic buildings created by Gaudí.
The bustling boulevard Les Rambles is the best place
to sample the spirit of Barcelona, where numerous
stands selling flowers, newspapers or birds and an
abundance of cafes, terraces and street performers all
blend into its unique atmosphere.
Coupled with its exceptional climate and sandy
beaches, all this makes Barcelona a magnetic tourist
proposition all year round.

Study Programme
Our study program is carefully compiled and
coordinated by our Director of Studies, following the
guidelines of the Common European Framework and
the curricular plan of the Instituto Cervantes.
Our students learn to develop their expression,
comprehension, interaction and mediation skills
towards effective communication in Spanish.
Our classes are focused on communication through
active participation and our students are encouraged
to develop autonomous learning strategies both inside
and outside the classroom.

Our intensive courses are enhanced by cutting edge
coursebooks and relevant materials.
Our teachers evaluate the day-to-day progress of each
student and an exam is taken at the end of every level,
before proceeding to the next one. We also offer a
consultation timetable during which students can
individually discuss any doubts or problems relating to
their studies.
