Ever wonder what it’s like to get behind the wheel of a racecar and
feel the adrenaline rush as you gain speed on a racetrack?
The Manila SpeedZone built in 2000 in Cainta and re-located at the
Fort Bonifacio Global City will satisfy this need for speed, giving
enthusiasts the chance to don a racing suit, a racing helmet, and
drive a Go Kart that can zoom in excess of 60mph.
The speed rush, however, is totally exhilarating, giving the driver a
real feel of what it is like to be an F1 driver. The senses are further
stimulated as you get ready to push the pedal to the metal, and as
you get past the checkered flag at the end of the lap. Completing the
experience is a professionally designed racetrack, complemented by
a computerized lap-counting device and a speed-monitoring and
controlling system that are all unique to SpeedZone.
And you don’t even need to race against somebody, as the
computerized system can track your actual lap times, and the
improvements you’ve made on every hair-pin turn or on every tirescreeching straight-away within the 7,300-sq-meter racetrack.
SpeedZone is the first world-class leisure racing complex in the
country boasting of 29 high-speed karts, and a professionallydesigned racetrack within a sprawling 10,200-sq-meter complex.
The facility has a racing-themed restaurant, a view deck, and
several function rooms to cater to corporate events.

Skydiving and parachuting at Clark Air Base is an experience to
behold!
Now the site of Diosdado Macapagal International Airport and the
Clark Freeport Zone, Clark Air Base, located about 40 miles
northwest of Metro Manila, used to be an American military facility
from 1903 to 1991. It covered 14.3 square miles (37 km²) with a
military reservation extending north that covered another 230
square miles (596 km²).
The Tropical Asia Parachute Center provides gear rentals, rigging
services, coaches, load organizers, among other requirements for
flying, parachuting and skydiving.

Any racer’s crave for speed is surely satisfied with the 2.9 km track
length and 13 m track width of the Subic International Raceway.
Built in 1994 and renovated in 2002, the raceway flaunts a total of
eight right turns and nine left turns. It gained FIM approval in 1997
and a grade four FIA license in 1998.
At the raceway, racing enthusiasts converge and test their mettle as
they excitingly maneuver through its bitumen surface and angled
turns. A short straight will follow and will pass on the opposite side
of the big Subic Bay hangar. This straight is about 300 meters long,
and leading to a slight bend to the right, followed by the new turn
three, which will be a very fast corner that will come before the long
straight. This corner requires a very fast turn, and when shifted to
the fourth gear, the cars must be traveling around 180kph – formula
cars will be faster, of course. This corner will lead to a long 500
meter straight and most reach over 200kph along that straight.
It has hosted the Asian 1600 Touring Car Invitational Cup, the
Philippine Japan Invitational Historic Car Races and the Hong Kong

City is accessible in less than two hours south of Manila. With its
drop zone somewhere between Mt. Makiling and Taal Volcano, you

greeneries within the Taal Lake.
The Tanauan Skydiving Center has a 1200m airstrip with several
aircraft available to take you aloft for jumping. It has state-of-the-art

A bit longer than the Subic International Raceway, it has drawn big
motorcross events for its popularity as the country’s biggest race
track. So, passionate racers find it a second home.
Visit the Batangas Racing Circuit and feel the reason why
prestigious races for Shell Advance Superbikes, Touring Cars,
Toyota Corolla Cup, the Ducati Cup and Formula 3, Karting,
Superbikes, Drag Racing, and Touring Cars frequent the site.
Built in 1996 and renovated in 2005, the raceway has a total of
seven right turns and four left turns. Its 3.5 km of track length and
15 m track width run up and descend long stretches and
treacherously exciting curves.
Safety for riders and spectators is foremost to the raceway
management. There are garages intended for race cars and
motorcycles; a fully equipped space serving as media center. On top
of this, the management is committed to help develop best Filipino
drivers and to continue to nurturing motorsports spirit among the
Filipino Youth.
