Anderson played in 29 games in 2009-10,
averaging 24.4 minutes per contest while
making 14 starts at the point … he scored
in all but three of the 29 games he played
in, reaching double figures seven times,
including a career-high 15 points in 26
minutes in a loss to California (Mar. 12) in
the semifinals of the Pac-10 Tournament …
recorded an assist in 27 of the games he
played, including a career-high seven assists
to go with 12 points, four rebounds, one
block and one steal in a win over Colorado
State (Dec. 22) … averaged 5.8 points, 1.9

Matt Carlino was a three-year basketball
letterman and graduated high school a year
early to enroll at UCLA in for the 201011 season … he averaged 13.4 points, 5.9
rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while
leading Bloomington South HS (Bloomington,
Ind.) to a 23-1 overall record as a junior in
2009-10 … the Panthers won the Conference
Indiana title with a 7-0 mark under the
tutelage of coach J.R. Holmes … BSHS lost to
Jeffersonville 58-56 in the 4A State Regional
Finals and was ranked as the No. 1 team in
the state for most of the season … he was
named to the Indiana Junior All-Star Team
and to the All-Conference Indiana Team in
2009-10 … Carlino compiled a 76-11 (.874)
overall record during his prep career, which
has included starting all three years for a No.
1 ranked team in the state … he played his
first two seasons at Highland High School in
Gilbert, Ariz., where he was coached by his
father, Mark Carlino … while starting his first
two years at point guard, he led the Highland
Hawks to a 29-4 mark in 2008-09 (sophomore
season) and a 24-6 record in 2007-08
(freshman campaign) … as a sophomore,
he averaged 19.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.5
assists and 2.7 steals per game while being
named first team All-State and the Fiesta
Region Player of the Year, as well as the East
Valley Player of the Year … HHS lost in the
state finals 70-62 to St. Mary’s High School
(Phoenix) … he scored 30 or more points six
times in 2008-09, including a season-high 31
points in a 73-68 win over Chavez HS (LaVeen,
Ariz.) also scored 31 points in an 89-59 win
over Corona del Sol (Tempe, Ariz.) … his team
won the 5A1 League with a 7-1 mark … as
a freshman, he averaged 16.2 points, 6.8
rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game

Tyler Honeycutt played in the final 26 games,

Schrempf earned four varsity letters in
basketball for the Wolverines at Bellevue High
School in Bellevue, Wash. … his basketball coach

won the 2009 3A KingCo league championship
during his senior season while going 27-2

(82-73), Bahamas (115-51) and Puerto Rico (106-64) and then
defeated Canada (82-66) in the medal rounds before falling to the
host, Argentina (77-64) in the Gold medal game … he played in all
five games, averaging 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while
shooting 50.0 percent (16-for-32) from the field.

twin, David, is his only sibling … his father, David Sr., played college
basketball at Fresno State and Cal State Fullerton and professionally
overseas … chose to attend UCLA because, “It is one of the best
academic institutions in the country and has the most historic
basketball program” … says the professional athlete he most admires
is Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers … lists winning back-to-back
state championships and being on the U18 USA National Team as his
biggest thrills in athletics … played AAU basketball for Pump N’ Run
Elite … is majoring in Political Science.
