2005 – 2007: represented the relation between Romanian Minister of Justice (MoJ) and the
judges:

- participated, together with the MoJ, to the national and international meetings;
- organized meetings related to Romanian judicial system’s reform;
- organized the meetings between the Romanian MoJ and the Romanian magistrates` associations in
order to have the permanent support for the national justice reform.
2005 – 2007: represented the relation between Romanian MoJ and the Superior Council of
Magistracy (SCM);
- participated to the weekly meeting of the SCM;
- reported to the minister and the Office members about the debates taken place during the SCM
meetings;
- drafted proposals to increase the efficiency of the SCM`s work.
2005 – 2007: member in The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ),
Council of Europe
- Romania’s representative to the Plenary meetings of the Commission;
- raporteur for Romanian justice reform’s status;
- national correspondent for the European Judicial System Report, edition 2006 (2004 data);
- translation of the Council of Europe’s documents related to the efficiency and equity of justice;
- national correspondent for the reporting on the civil and penal mediation system in Romania, 2006.
2006: member in work team for drafting Judges and Prosecutors Profile in Romanian justice system,
approved by Superior Council of Magistracy
2005 – 2006: Romanian Leader in the Phare Project RO/03/IB/JH/09 – “Support for Juvenile
Justice” (1,070,000 euro budget)
- coordinate the project and managed the issues raised in the field of Juvenile justice;
- represented the relation between the Romanian MoJ and France MoJ;
- organized the meetings between the actors involved in the juvenile justice system;
- drafted the project proposals related to the reform of juvenile justice in Romania.
2005: Coordinator of Committee for criminal procedure code’s reform
- established the Committee;
- coordinator of the debates related to the activity of the Committee;
- drafted the law to change the Romanian criminal procedure code (Law no.356/2006);
- drafted, at the same time, the Mediation Law (Law no.192/2006).
2005 – 2006: Member of the Committee for the Judicial System reform
- organized the meetings with interested parties related to the presentation and debate of the
comparative law in this field;
- drafted the national new strategy of the reform of the judiciary in Romania and the Plan of Action,
approved by the Romanian Government (GD. no. 232/2005)
- drafted the amendments to the Judicial Organization Law (no.304/2004), Statutes of the Magistrates
Law (no.303/2004), Superior Council of Magistracy Law (no.371/2004).
- drafted the Magistrates Remuneration Law (no.27/2006).
