September 2016
Dear Residents,
Another Family Picnic success!!! Thank you all for
taking a chance on the weather and joining us for our
Annual Family Picnic ~ Fiesta!!!!!! The food was just
perfect, not too spicy, yet a little Tex-Mexy! Our true
Texans had nothing but good things to say; therefore, I
trust it was just right!
Now, as we head into the fall season, we settle down
a bit. With school starting and families falling back into
a routine, we want to wish all of your grandchildren a
great, successful school year. With that being said, we
will celebrate our very special grandparents on Sunday,
September 11th, with music by Lamar Pilsing and
sweet treats for all!!! Please invite your grandchildren
or great-grandchildren to enjoy the festivities with you!
It will be a nice change of pace and it’s always fun to
see the little ones.
The city of Kirkwood also celebrates the season with
the Annual Greentree Festival and Parade. Please join
us on the third floor (apartment 320 & 322) to watch
the festivities from the respective balconies. Nancy D. is
so kind to open her home for us to enjoy the parade
(Saturday, September 17th, at 10:00 am) from her
balcony! You won’t want to miss it!!!!
Be sure to watch your calendars for all of the goings
on in-house and about town! You don’t want to miss
out on the great fun Crystal has planned!!! Have a
wonderful September!!!
Love, Jenny
