June 16-19 Tierp Arena, Sweden
July 7-10 Alastaro, Finland
August 4-7 Gardermoen, Norway
August 25-28 Tierp Arena, Sweden
The championship events provide great
entertainment and not only at the
track. In drag racing the pit area is open
for spectators and visitors can monitor
the teams work servicing the race vehicles in between runs and get the latest
news from the drivers and mechanics.
Drag racing is a pure arena sport where
the full competition distance of a quarter mile (402.33 meters) can be monitored comfortably from the grandstands. The best way to experience the
sport is by visiting a championship
event. It is an extreme sport and there is
nothing like it. After all, the sport is
home for the fastest accelerating vehicles on earth.
While the live arenas are where the
action takes place part of the year, the
championship marketing arena is alive
all year round.
Looking at the business side of it, there
are many options for companies that
wish to and market their services and
products. Should it be to connect with
the parties actively involved in the
championship, be visible at the live arenas, reach the online audience or all of
the above, we can find a working concept.
A network of editors, photographers
and film makers make the EDRS Pro
Nordic Motorcycle Drag Racing Championship visible for the audience online
and news connected to the championship is naturally reported all year round.
With an average of 250.000 unique visitors per month, Speedgroups media
partner Eurodragster.com is the leading
news site for drag racing in Europe.
Speedgroups sites and social media
groups and the track operators also
attract readers and viewers online.
The championship events are also featured by non European online media like
US based Dragbike.com and DragRacing
Online. In the countries where championship events are run, local and
national media cover the events. Live
web-TV broadcast from events is standard.
