Meet The Surfin’ Tones!
The band is comprised of four musicians that have a
passion for perpetuating the sounds of the great
instrumental classic hits from the late 50’s and 60’s.
That unique sound is lost today in the myriad of
digital effects and signal processors. The Surfin’
Tones have incorporated the original tube amplifiers,
reverb units, Fender guitars and Ludwig drums from
the era, and are fanatical about reproducing the
‘original’ sound of the periods great music artists.
The members include Greg Darby on lead guitar,
Geoff West on drums and percussion, Bill Striker on
Bass, and Greg Sutherland on rythum guitar and
keyboard.
The band has aggregated over 150 years of musical experience, and relies on the combined strength of it’s
members to continue to “hone the tone!”
