Rivers are the veins of our country, our planet… It is our collective duty to protect them from the human hand, often too adventurous. Fondation Rivières is proud to support citizen groups working passionately to preserve rivers from pollution, negligence and interventions that could divert them from their natural course. As an unconditional river enthusiast, as a lover of their wild beauty, I have given my commitment to do my best to raise awareness in order to protect the rivers of Quebec. I am asking for your support to continue our collective endeavor and inviting you to contribute to the protection of the environment by supporting the Fondation. Eleven paintings, like doors, which have been created between 2009 and 2012, in Rouyn-Noranda, Québec and Le Bic. Using spray paints and stencil, he creates balanced compositions generated with anarchy in luminous configurations where reverse exists by vacuum and brings structure. If, for Mathieu, photography possesses a light finding presence, painting comes from the absence of light coming from the shadow. It does not take long for doors to open… Details on the artist 2012 exhibition: http://bit.ly/1jgI9vq 454, Laurier Ave. East, Montréal, QC H2J 1E7 www.fondationrivieres.org Ph.: 514 272-2666 Fax: 514 447-9455 fr@fondationrivieres.org Information regarding the online and live auction of Fondation Rivières, 2013 edition Place your bids from November 15th to November 24th 2013 ≈ To bid in advance, you must provide your: NAMES / PHONE NUMBER / ADDRESS/ MAXIMAL BET/ CREDIT CARD NUMBER + expiration date + the three (3) digit value on the back of the card - by email until 1 P.M, Sunday November 24th, 2013 at encans@videotron.ca - by phone at 514 278-0827 (until November 22nd, 2013) / 514 951-6369 (Saturday November 23rd, 2013) The auctioneer will bid for you on the auction day (on Sunday November 24th, 2013 from 1 P.M). ≈ To bid on the live auction day, Sunday November 24th from 1 P.M - on site, on the auction day, visit us at this address : 5778 St-Laurent Bdv.(Bernard corner), in Montréal - by phone, on the auction day, please contact Mr Gilles at 514 951-6369 Exhibition of the items for sale on Saturday November 23rd from noon to 5 P.M and Sunday morning from 11 A.M to 1 P.M Payment Methods : Visa, MasterCard, Interac, Money order. 15% auction fees plus GST and PST (taxes).
