Painting the bottom of your boat
Don’t forget that the bottom of your boat needs to be re-painted every 3 to 4 years.
This can also help with the performance of the boat as well.

Bloody Mary Monday – DYC’s Labor Day Celebration
Celebrate Labor Day Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. with the Dallas
Yacht Club! We’ll provide set ups for Bloody Marys and
mimosas and some breakfast fixings. You bring a dish to
share (and some extra vodka). Guests are welcome. Free
to all. www.dallasyachtclub.org.
Sept. 19 Fiesta –Crank Up the Margarita Machine!
Our Sept. 19 Mexican Fiesta at 7 p.m. on the DYC Dock features
great Mexican food, including beef and chicken fajitas with all
the sides, Margaritas and music by the JD Munson band for our
dancing enjoyment! Ole, ya’ll!
Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home Day at the Lake is now Sept. 26,
11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Our guests love to fish, play games, go for boat rides and
enjoy a fun lunch on the dock. We need volunteers to make sure our kids
have an awesome day! Gift cards in the amount of $10 or $20 will help the
kids get special items for school and personal use. To volunteer and to
donate cards, please contact Lori Taylor, 817-937-9424.
Business Meeting, Halloween Party Oct. 24: We’ll have a brief business
meeting to present our 2016 DYC board members and discuss a few
housekeeping items before we get down to partying! This is potluck, so
bring a dish to share. Best costumes win prizes! 7 p.m., Dock 22.
