Your VVO-Team 2 Rail line U 28 crosses the Elbe About us About us The VVO region One ticket. For everything. Just get aboard. One fare system covers all means of transport: Use regional trains, suburban services, trams, buses and almost all ferries. It does not matter where you purchase your ticket. Just change with ease – thanks to short distances at interchange points and synchronized timetables. Up-to-date vehicles and modern stops and stations guarantee fast and convenient journeys throughout Dresden and the upper Elbe region. The region of the VVO is divided into 21 tariff zones. No matter which service you use or how often you change between various modes of transport: these zones that can be distinguished by numbers and different colours are the basis for your fare rate. Just count the number of zones you are travelling through. The price of your ticket is displayed in the fare overview on page 6. Examples Dresden = 1 tariff zone Dresden – Pirna = 2 tariff zones Dresden – Meißen = 3 tariff zones The VVO and the 14 transport companies operating within the area offer an extensive network for guests and inhabitants. Buses, trams, trains and ferries connect more than 3.800 stops on more than 310 services with each other. We want to make your journey as easy as possible and therefore work hard to improve connections, create a unified fare system, offer easy-to-use information and customerfriendly service. 4 The train service S 1 in front of the Königstein Fortress Tickets Service Information on timetables and fare system Recommendations Tickets (in EUR) VVO-InfoHotline +49 (0) 351 852 65 55 extensive information Fare rate 6.00 8.50 13.50 Day ticket Standard valid for max. 3 persons of whom max. 1 person is older than 14 1 tariff zone 2 tariff zones VVO region Family day ticket valid for max. 6 persons of whom max. 2 persons are older than 14 1 tariff zone 2 tariff zones VVO region 9.00 13.00 19.00 Small group ticket valid for max. 5 persons 1 tariff zone 2 tariff zones VVO region 15.00 21.00 28.00 5.00 7.00 11.50 Monday to Friday from 7 am until 7 pm on weekends and public holidays from 8 am till 7 pm VVO-Mobilitätszentrale (Mobility Centre) Prices as of 01 November 2015 Reduced day tickets are available for children aged 6 – 14 and senior citizens over 60.
