Wheelhead
The universal wheelhead U has been designed for OD-, face- and ID-grinding in
a single set-up. Roundness, concentricity
and axial run out values of less than 1 µm
can thus be achieved.

The hydrodynamic bearings of the grinding wheel spindle and the finely balanced motor guarantee excellent surface
quality.
Cross-slide with built-in ”rise and fall“mechanism of the wheelhead. The total
wheelslide travel of 220 mm can be easily adjusted by a few turns of the infeed
handwheel, in its coarse position.
