THROUGH STRUCTURE YOU CAN ACHIEVE FREEDOM!
Structure is not a dirty word! Some people think that they will have a ‘ball and chain’ strapped to
them, hating every minute of “this structure thing”. Thinking that it will limit their ability to get out
and do what they do best. They think it is time consuming with no result. Well I’m here to tell you
that structure and processes in your business will do the complete opposite!
Imagine if things were just getting done systematically to achieve more time, more income and
more freedom to do what you would rather be doing.....I know I would rather be spending time
with family and friends and holidaying around the world when I want to. Using some structure and
processes I don’t have to be in the office everyday and when a friend calls and wants to have a drink
I can say yes! There are just a few simple systems you can put into place to allow you to have the
same freedom I do.
But.... and there is a ‘but’ you have to be committed to the systems or you will be chained to your
desk, office or vehicle for more hours than you care to think about. Never seeing the light of day!
If you focus on the system you will achieve your desired results. If you focus on the result then you
will achieve nothing!
Don’t get bogged down being busy with no direction or purpose. Everything you do should be
strategically getting you to the place you want to be. This comes from a little bit of structure and a
little bit of self discipline. These two things will help you not to get sidetracked with time wasting,
and non income earning tasks. Every time you do something ask yourself... “Is this job getting me to
where I want to be?” None of us want to do the jobs that are time consuming with little reward.

Every day, each person is bombarded with over 40,000 pieces of advertising and marketing
information. With this much clutter in the marketplace, knowing how to have your message noticed is
vitally important to your business … and your cash flow.

Investing and creating wealth is very simple in theory, but is it easy?

Firstly, it used to be lack of information, but it has now become too much information. In the world of Google, the world

Leaving it too late. The typical life story for MOST people. Because we get distracted by life, busy with our kids, busy
with our jobs, busy trying to stay healthy……..During that time we put off doing what we know we need to do.
Has anyone ever said, I’ll get started after that next pay rise, after our trip to Bali, after I’ve paid off the car, after
we’ve fixed the house up? MOST people procrastinate over money matters until just before they are ready to retire
and by then its too late, they’ve missed out on all that TIME, which is so important
And you will know people who can always tell you why an investment is not right. Interest rates are too high,
trouble in Asia, election coming up. They always have a reason why not to invest… so they never do.
They say that MOST lottery winners are back to where they started 2 or 3 years after they’ve won the lottery. And
that’s probably because that’s where their thermostat is set. Take Donald Trump and Alan Bond, both Billionaires, lost
everything and within a few years built it back, because their thermostat is set way up high. Now you don’t have to be airy
fairy about this but you should have a basic belief and expectation that you will have a high quality retirement.
This is probably the big one. It should be obvious, but if you never take any action, you can’t actual achieve ANYTHING.
Even though we know MOST people say that building wealth is one of their top goals, if they are not spending any
time or any money on it, is it really a priority?
And importantly, you need help. All successful businesses and successful sports people have coaches and advisers,
without exceptions….. Someone to help with the action and keep them on track.
So, often coaches don’t even tell us anything we don’t know, they just make sure we do what needs to be done.
BUT they do help you understand the strategies and get results.

ALWAYS BE YOURSELF
To network in a way that will benefit your business, you must always be yourself – that is - being natural.
By trying to be someone or something that you are not can be interpreted that you are putting on an act. If this is
how you come across then eventually you will get caught out and look like a pretender or worse be perceived as
unreliable. No one wants to refer to anyone who is unreliable.
Don’t worry that this may mean that you start off networking as a shy person, always in the background; this is just
you and being new to networking. You will learn what is comfortable for you as you go .Before you know it you will
have the confidence and be sure of yourself because you are doing what comes naturally.
An old saying is “Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin” this is true in both networking and speaking to business referral
sources. This does not mean though that you cannot aspire to be different or have an’ idol’ so to speak.
A great tip I was given once was to write out – “Who is your best Self”.
This is a great way for you to know how to be YOU and still manage to have a goal to be better or different. You may
surprise yourself in that your best self is there already but you have not appreciated your own attributes.
This incorporates things like, what values does your best self have, what qualities you live by and how do you feel
about yourself. Include how your best self feels about money, how do others think and speak of you when you are
being your best self. Self Awareness is really important!
You are not going to refer business to anyone if you are not comfortable with either the person , the business or the
product you are referring to….. Are you?
That will reflect back on you and you may lose that contact or customer. The same applies with people are referring
to you. They want to refer with confidence or it will reflect badly on them.
Know your best self, know your service or product and when delivering to others be YOU. You want people to buy
…. That starts with the knowledge they are buying from someone they like, trust and believe.
YOU have got your business where it is today, YOU have taken the step of reading these secrets, YOU have made the

Who has heard the term ‘on-the-job training’? Who thinks that ‘on-the-job training’ is all your staff
needs to ensure all jobs are done right in your business? Well, I’m sorry to say that your business will
unlikely be the best it can be. Training your staff is the best investment you can make! And with my
tips on tracking down government funding and subsidised training opportunities, you might even be
able to do it for FREE.
Vocational education and training (VET) is a fundamental driver of a skilled Australian workforce. The
majority of VET courses lead to formal qualifications in a wide range of trade and professional fields,
delivered in variety of formats and ranging from Certificate I, II, III, IV or Diploma/Advanced diploma levels.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics state that there were 2,794 registered training providers in Australia
in 2010, with approximately 1.8 million students enrolled in publicly funded VET courses, of whom just
over half (54%) were under 30 years of age (http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@.nsf/Lookup/by%20
Subject/1301.0~2012~Main%20Features~Vocational%20education%20and%20training%20(VET)~106).
Undertaking accredited training and providing education opportunities for your staff shows that you
are investing in them and their future in your company. In turn, you hope they invest in you with
returned loyalty within their role and your company. Training and education is a great tool to improve,
up skill and build an exceptional team within your business. Continuously needing to recruit staff is
not only expensive but a logistical and administrative nightmare, with reviewing CV’s, interviews, new
employee paperwork, getting them started… way too stressful and hugely frustrating. If you have good,
reliable staff in place, then work with them to gain the additional skills they need to fill in any gaps you
have, you will then have engaged, committed, loyal employees who thing long-term in their role.
Take the opportunity to find the training and educational opportunities for your staff that will allow
both your staff and company to exceed. Find the courses that work for your business, find the training
company that works with your business and look for the funding opportunities that could make your
training costs NIL.
