From the Dean’s Desk February 2013 A Message from the Dean The smiles on the faces of the children who were here for Give Kids A Smile! said it all: They were having fun. It is so important that a child’s first experience with a dentist is a pleasant one, and everyone who was involved with the event made that happen. My sincere thanks to all who had a hand in making this annual event a huge success. I also want to thank our many alumni who opened their offices for all, or part, of the day to participate in the event. One of the most important things we do as dentists is help kids form good oral health habits.
