Brief
Zarco Exchange is the most progressive company in the money transfer industry based in Lahore,
Pakistan. It is one of the largest Western Union agents in the country offering everything from advanced
technologies such as ClickNSend to simple travelers cheques. Zarco has an established market share
of more than two million customers, with network that covers urban and rural areas along with the only
online branch service in Pakistan.
In 2009, the Pakistan Finance Ministry accused Zarco Exchange and Khanani and Kalia International
(KKI) of money laundering and illegal money transfers. The case that is now known as the Pakistan Forex
Scam Case resulted in both firms’ license suspended. Although KKI was not able to recover from this,
Zarco’s allegations were lifted and the company was able to restart its operations in 2011.
Some years have past and strategy has determined that there is a perception of Zarco as an
American Entity. Zarco would like to forget about the past and redesign their look to gain more trust
and dependency from current and perspective customers. They would like to look very international
and yet not too Western.

Usability Testing Analysis
To test hoe navagatable my site was, I asked
around 12 people to perform 3 simple tasks
(Find Currency Rates, Find Service Page, and
Contact Zarco) and to rate theri expereince on
a scale of 1 to 3.
Overall, reviews were positive. The most
negative feed back I got was the letter size and
spacing. I realized that when I initially coded
the website, I was following my comp that I
had made on indesign that was closer to a
poster format.
Also, some thought that the background of
the hero image was a little to dark fo the logo.
