Statement of the Receiver
January 12, 2011
On August 3, 2010, the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division seized
from Jon Greco, with the assistance of the Bloomington Police Department, 118 gold and
platinum coins and various denominations of Iraqi, Turkish, Canadian, Chinese, Russian, and
Dominican Republic currencies totaling 786 bills. The IRS administratively forfeited the assets
and turned them over to the Receiver on January 11, 2011. The Receiver will deposit the
currency he can exchange in the Receivership bank account, and is in the process of preparing a
motion to liquidate the balance of the assets. The Receiver gratefully acknowledges and thanks
IRS Special Agents John Tschida and Teri Schultz, the FBI, and the Bloomington Police
Department, whose efforts led to the recovery of these assets for the benefit of the Receivership.
