recipients.

Toronto – January 28th, 2015 – The Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC) welcomed over 800
of its own to honour the best of the best in the Canadian promotional product industry. The 35th Annual Image
Awards Ceremony opened with a performance by The Misprints, featuring the vocals of Alex Morin, Josh Shaw on
the drums, Iain Walker on bass and Adam Berry on guitar.
94 Image Award trophies were presented to well-deserving PPPC members from over 46 different member
companies.
Merle Linde, MAS, formerly of Probizz Advertising Specialties Inc., was recognized for all that she has contributed
to the industry and association, and was inducted into the PPPC Hall of Fame. Merle was joined by her closest
family, friends and colleagues to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Susan Heslop, of Genumark Strategic Merchandising, took to the stage, along with Fred Oesen, Brad Milne,
Leslie Ashby, Dennis Lee, Dan Daniels and Stan Gallen, for a very special presentation, honoring the life and
achievements of the late Pat Morris. Pat, a pioneer in our industry, was honored with the second ever PPPC
Lifetime Achievement Award.
Small, medium and large distributor members from coast to coast proudly accepted awards voted on by their
peers. BrandAlliance™ was presented with their first ever National Distributor of the Year Award. Surrounded by
their team, BrandAlliance Presidents, Nick Thompson, MAS, and Marc Roy accepted this special award, with a
heartfelt speech, giving thanks to all those that helped make this achievement possible.
This year, the gold Supplier of the Year award was bestowed upon Debco Bag Distributors, while Leed’s received
silver and Spector & Co. was presented with the bronze award.
The night wrapped up with a draw for a $500 PPPC Visa Gift card and a free 2 night stay at the InterContinental
Hotel, during the 2016 National Convention. Jean Ann Ronci, of Faro and Candice Derstroff, of Cotton Candy Inc
were the two lucky winners!
