throughout the BVJ Site.
Garbage / Recycle Collection
Please assist us in keeping our grounds clean. Upon
arrival, all campers will receive a garbage bag and a
recycle bag. When full, place it by the roadway, clean
up/recycle crews will remove it for you and replace your
bags with new ones. This service is offered daily.

The City shuttle pick up/ drop off is located on the
paved lot in front of the CRE. The shuttle runs every ½
hour (Thursday to Sunday: 9am – 3am) with in town
stops at the following locations;

• Max McLean Arena • Alice Hotel
• Downtown Subway Parking Lot
• Fee: $2.50 / ride

Suggested precautions in the event
of severe weather:
During a thunderstorm with lightning/hail
  Do not stay outdoors
  Find shelter in a vehicle, RV or building

 If caught outside, lie flat in a ditch, excavation
or culvert
 If no shelter can be found, hang on to a small tree

CAMPGROUND
The campground gates will open for you to set up your site
beginning Wednesday, July 29th. The gates will open at
8 am and close at 10:30 pm Wednesday – Saturday, and
open at 8 am and close at 9 pm on Sunday; there will be
no access any earlier. All vehicles not processed by 10:30
pm will be required to park in the processing lanes until the
gates reopen in the morning.
All vehicles will be subject to search upon arrival.
Campsites are sold and assigned on a first come first serve
basis and are based on double occupancy. Thus for every
2 valid weekend admissions purchased, you may purchase
one campsite. Camping stickers must be placed on the
vehicle pulling the camping unit. Should you have a second
vehicle, use the second camping sticker provided. There
are no serviced sites.
Please keep the campground roads and driving lanes clear
for emergency vehicle access at all times.
Some campsites may be unlevel, please bring and take
home your own blocking for safe leveling.
BVJ takes pride in our image! Please keep your campsites
clean and maintained, failure to do so will result in a $300
clean up fee charged to the campsite holders credit card
and/or eviction from festival sites and venues.
For your convenience showers, portable toilets, and
non-potable water stations are available throughout the
campground.
Generators will be allowed to operate between 8:00
am and Midnight. If your generator makes excessive
noise or creates fumes you will be asked not to use it.
We understand some people have health related issues
that require generators to run all night. In fairness to other
campers, these generators must be of the “whisper quiet”
make and not disturb other campers. Any non-compliance
will result in eviction without refund.
BVJ is not an ideal weekend for your pets and they may be
happier at home. If you do choose to bring your pet they
must remain at your campsite, leashed and attended to at
all times.

will provide the most up to date weather and safety
information available for Camrose County. In the event of
severe weather or any other major emergency, the PPLP
Incident Team will issue an Emergency Notice.
Efforts will be made to alert the public by the Public
Address System. The Public Address System
consists of stage announcements, social media, and

BVJ is committed to providing respectful, secure, and
supportive work environments to ensure the safety and
well-being of all individuals. BVJ does not tolerate nor
condone any violent actions or behaviours toward any
BVJ staff member. BVJ will take the appropriate action in
the appropriate manner required to address any report of
verbal abuse or violence.
Anyone engaging in violent, obscene or unruly behavior
will be immediately removed from festival site, parking
lots, or campgrounds and may also be subject to arrest.
BVJ prohibits the display of gang insignia throughout the
campground & festival site.

At Big Valley Jamboree we feature a wide array of Licensed
Areas that are ready to quench the thirsty concert goer. Stop
by the Jim Beam Backroom Bar at the back of the Main
Stage Concert Bowl, or come sing some karaoke at the
Watering Hole Saloon on Main Street. The Molson Canadian
Saloon is the place to be for the Thursday night Kick-Off
Party and the place to end every other night. So pack a
sweater, polish up your boots and get ready to dance the
night away as we feature some of your favorite songs and the
best live entertainment around.

Welcome to the Big Valley Jamboree – a world class
festival built on tradition and safety, with world class fans
like you. We have reached this level of success because
of each and every person that has attended the festival
in these past years. This weekend please continue
to show our friends, family, and everyone around you
the respect and courtesy they all deserve. We truly
appreciate that you treat our family members like guests
in your own home. This August Long Weekend, you are
now, and always will be, right where you need to be.

General admission ticket holders are not provided chairs,
so feel free to bring your own lawn chair. Line-ups are
formed daily with the Concert Bowl gates opening at
9:00 am.
A maximum of 2 chairs per person can be carried in
and set up in our designated area. Please remember
to remove your lawn chairs nightly. Reserved/VIP seat
holders please wear your wristband and refer to your
neck pass for your seat row and section. A priority
seating area is provided for the physically challenged
in the Main Stage Concert Bowl, each person is
allowed 2 guests.

Camera Policy
In consultation with various artists and their
management the following camera policy is now
effective. Point and shoot cameras are permitted
inside the Main Stage Concert Bowl and Molson
Canadian Saloon as long as their use does not
interfere with the event or other guests enjoyment
of the event. Video cameras, tripods, monopods
and cameras with a lens longer than 4” fully
extended (detachable or non-detachable) are
prohibited inside the Main Stage Concert Bowl and
Molson Canadian Saloon. Cameras not adhering to
this policy may be denied entry at the gates.
Smoking
BVJ is a smoke free environment. Smoking is
allowed in the designated smoking areas (see map)
located on Main Street, Main Stage Concert Bowl,
Molson Canadian Saloon, Jim Beam Backroom
Bar, The Watering Hole Saloon and the Bulls For
Breakfast area.
As we continue to make Big Valley Jamboree Canada’s Premier Country Music Festival we want to encourage you to have fun out there. The artists love to
see people up dancing and singing along. The more feedback and love you give to them the more they will give you. You have the opportunity to make each

Parking
Day parking is located at the end of the processing
lanes. Parking passes are hung from your rear
view mirror, colour side facing forward, free from
obstruction. Please remember this is day parking
and your vehicle must be removed by 7:30 am
the following day.
Failure to do so will result in the vehicle being
towed at the owners expense.
