We are all pleased to welcome Kristina Aschenbrenner to Rhinelander and are excited that she has joined our leadership team. We ask that the City give her a big welcome as well! Kristina comes to us from Eau Claire, Wisconsin having recently served as District Court Administrator for the 10th Judicial District of the Wisconsin Supreme Court in Eau Claire. In addition to her government experience, Kristina has a strong business background having worked in banking and the financial field. She also has military experience serving in the Wisconsin Army National Guard during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Kristina possesses a strong sense of community and is looking forward to developing connections and working collaboratively with community leaders within the City. There is much work to be done in Rhinelander and Oneida County; and we’re confident that Kristina will become an asset to our community and will bring a fresh outlook and lots of enthusiasm to Rhinelander. As Kristina begins her tenure, we would be neglectful to not give our sincere thanks to Phil Parkinson who has assisted since mid-May as Interim City Administrator. Phil has served the community of Rhinelander off and on for many years as City Administrator and later as City Attorney; and we are pleased that he consented to come out of retirement to assist the City these past few months. He has given up many hours advising in the search for the new City Administrator and also in the day-to-day operations of the City of Rhinelander. Phil has made this transition period much smoother by lending his expertise to the City. Thank you, Phil for your service to Rhinelander. 1 CLERK’S OFFICE REMINDERS: Taxes & Elections The Clerk’s office would like to remind all that tax time and elections are approaching.
