This past Sunday five precious souls responded to the Lord’s invitation. Sunday morning, Kristi James,
Jenifer Quinn, Kristi Mikle, and Kelli East all came forward requesting our prayers for different
things. Kristi James (the grand-daughter of the late Marshall and Hassie Moon) came forward
expressing her desire to come home. We rejoice with Kristi’s decision and we welcome her home!
Jennifer said that she was ready to finally let go and let God have control of her life. Kristi Mikle came
forward expressing her desire to be a better mother to her children. Kelli East said that she had been
hanging on to some bitterness and other negative feelings. On Sunday evening, Pam Love, came
forward and simply stated that she just wants to make sure that she is truly following Jesus.
Five amazing Christian women! We are so blessed to have them all as a part of our family here at
Rainbow. They are a tremendous example to all of us. May we lift them up in prayer and encourage
them in anyway that we can while learning from their example of humility and obedience to our Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ.

You can still register to go to Exposure, but the cost is now $90. If your child hasn’t signed up to go,
please encourage them to do so. They won’t regret it. The deadline is November 30th.
Remember, if your child signed up before last Sunday, they are now registered and the cost it still
only $80 for them. You have until the day we leave to pay for the trip. If you have any questions, see
Dave Lasseter.
Each month our Elders take a turn sharing the responsibility of “Elder of the Month”. During that month,
that Elder is the contact person for our flock for any needs that they might have. During the month of
October, John Bowling is the “Elder of the Month” you can reach him at 256-328-4727 (James 5:14)
