The outlook for economic growth in New Zealand over the next 6 to 12 months is looking increasingly poor. Some segments within the hospitality portfolio continue to take longer to move than others. Our findings show that well run businesses achieving industry best practice ratios can still achieve ratios of 3 times EBITDA. The local economy has seen some room for optimism with factors such as the tight labour market and some export gains being encouraging.
