The first event of the year will be a cocktail and diner social event at Fiorentino’s bar and restaurant at the
Lancaster Airport terminal on January 24th, starting at 5:00 pm. This user pay event is in a central location
and offers yummy Italian cuisine and roughly 60 beer choices with a dozen on tap (http://fiorentinos.com).
Note we did not schedule a Judges School this year as both chapters 35 (New England) and 52 (New
Jersey) are planning that event. Details on both schools will be published when available.

Flying the 42 with Unlimited Competitor Joe Brinker in the
front seat, I found the 42 to be surprisingly quiet and
comfortable. The controls were smooth, heavier than I
expected and predictably hyper responsive and powerful.
The only unusual control was the locking tailwheel
activated by pulling the stick full aft. To turn while taxiing,
