There is no admission fee for the event, but donations will be greatly accepted, as the museum is trying to raise money for expansion of an additional wing as new space for displays and donated memorabilia is vitally needed. Ground has already been broken and a two-year building project has started with plans to complete the concrete foundation this year and building construction in 2017. The May 28th event will feature Mr. Charles Libby who worked in a local CCC Camp before his service in the WWII European Theatre as a command car driver. He also has recently completed a book titled "From The Command Car" and will have signed copies available on the 28th. Also speaking at the Museum, for the first time, will be Charles Brookings who served on a PT (patrol torpedo) boat during the war. Last but not least will be our own Dick Donald, who is becoming quite famous with his talks of his life and wartime experiences surrounding WWII and Korea. Dick is also working on his own book which he will be publishing in the near future. The event will be held 10:00 a.m to 5 p.m., at the museum, on Main Street in Sonestown.
