Diamond Mountain FFA Chapter Hosts Spring Banquet
The Diamond Mt. FFA chapter annual spring banquet took place on the 25th of May 2016.
The annual Diamond Mt. FFA Spring Banquet was at the Opera House in down town Eureka Nevada. The Honorary Membership Ceremony took place at the banquet. Honorary Membership
was given to those who have assisted the chapter a great deal in its endeavors. The New Honorary members are Scott and Silvia Raine, Ron and Kathy Damele, Julie Fisher, Kim Archuleta, and
Rebecca Glocknitzer. The Chapter Degree was given to second year members who qualified for
the degree. The recipients of this degree were Steel Raine, Kaitlyn Torres, Teanna Green, Kallie
Norris, Shane Lacovara, Angel Greely, Cody Gibbs, Teagan MacBride, Nicole Burton, and Tristan
Blake. Furthermore a new chapter officer team begins their term at the banquet with Kaitlyn
Torres as President, Heather Lacovara as Vice President, Jake Jensen as Treasurer, Steel Raine
as Reporter, Shauna Brown as Secretary, Tyler Blanco as Sentinel ,and Kallie Norris as Historian.

FFA AG DAY AT THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Ag Day at the Elementary School
The elementary students had a blast at the annual
AG day presentations done by the Diamond
Mountain FFA Chapter. Twelve presentation took
place at Ag Day about how food is grown and processed as well as the structures of equines and
how Dairies are run and taken care of. The presentation titles were bees, cattle, horses, sheep, vet
tech, pigs, chickens, dairy, horse judging, soils,
and trail mix. Each presentation was 10 minutes
long. Ag Day takes place to teach young students
about the importance of agriculture and to give
options for what job fields they might want to
enter.
