A big thank you went out to all members for all the help at 3 activities in December, those being the Christmas party, Kids Fun Day, and the Country Breakfast. Honey is still for sale at $10 a bottle if anyone is interested. Thank you to everyone who donated deer hides this year, we have a little over 100 to take up to Rosholt. Our annual Bowling Sweeper will be March 2nd at T & O Lanes in Oshkosh, sign up at Jaspers if you are interested. Cost is $25 per bowler. Currently there are 2 raffles taking place, one for a John Deere riding lawnmower and the other for a 32 inch flat screen TV. Tickets can be purchased at Jaspers or from Lions members. Our next regular meeting will be February 4th at Jaspers at 7:30. We discussed details for the country breakfast and possible going on a club trip. Meghan gave her demonstration on: How to play her flute, and Justin gave his demonstration on his table he made in shop class in school. Our next meeting is January 27th at 6:00. We will serving the Country Breakfast on Feb. 10 hope to see everyone there. PICKETT HORSE CLUB We are looking forward to warmer weather, trail rides, camping and our July horse show in Waukau. Many of us were able to attend Alice Rasmussen’s retirement party in January. Congratulations Alice! She recently added 2 new critters to her barnyard. They are a couple of beautiful, young alpacas. We welcome new club members. If you are looking for someone to go trail riding with, come to one of our meetings.
