SPOTLIGHT: COUGAR SPIRIT ROARS!
BETH EVENHUIS
Go
Cougars!
How long have you been in leadership?
I’m a senior and this is my first year. I was friends with last year’s Spirit Committee
and I loved what she was doing, so I really wanted to do it!
3565 Mt Diablo Blvd,
Lafayette, CA 94549
Why does the Red Sea make difference at the games?
It really gets the players and the parents fired up. We always hear from the players
that they love hearing the cheers.
(925) 299-8700
Do you think you can keep the enthusiasm rolling from last year? Will it be easier or harder to get the crowd fired up?
I think we can definitely keep the crowd fired up. Everyone is super motivated
from last year, so we are so excited to just keep it all going.
Head of Spirit Committee, Campo Leadership
Do you plan on continuing in Leadership after high school?
Yes I do. I am really into community service – I do that for fun. So I hope I can be a
leader through that. I have always loved doing leadership
Will we be seeing anything new from the Red Sea this season?
Yes! We have lots of great ideas.
ELI KIRMAYER
Drummer, Administrative Leader, Campo Pep Band
How long have you been in band?
All four years
Do you plan on continuing with band next year?
It depends on which school I go to. I don’t want to study music at a school if it
doesn’t have a good music program.

Were you in the Pep Band last year? Did you go down to State?
Yes. It was incredible. We kind of attribute ourselves to winning State.
Are you the lead guy for the band this year? Will you be wearing the cape?
I am one of three. I am responsible for all the administrative stuff. I’m NOT [going
to be wearing the cape]
Will there be a guy in a cape?
There might be.
What’s your favorite song the Pep Band plays?
