YEAR IN - CREW San Antonio
A CHAPTER OF CREW NETWORK ® CREW San Antonio 2015 YEAR IN Review A MESSAGE FROM THE President Wow - what a fantastic year CREW San Antonio has had and how much fun this has been! The CREW San Antonio Board had set some lofty goals for this year, and I am happy to report that we have met or surpassed nearly every one of those goals. We evaluated what our members felt we did well as well as those areas that needed improvement, and we worked extremely hard this year to strengthen the organization in every one of those aspects. The Board’s key goal for our Chapter was financial soundness so we could do more for our members, which we were able to accomplish. CARRIE CAESAR Our CREW San Antonio membership consists of a broad base of disciplines in the commercial real estate industry. The foundation of our benefits lies in providing networking opportunities so business can be done among our members. Our move to the Norris Conference Center greatly enhanced the networking opportunities by providing the much needed space we required for our growing membership. Additionally, we held several Member’s Only events, site tours of commercial real estate developments, Movie Night and monthly luncheons highlighting current topics affecting the real estate community. Our two signature events, Forum and CREWtini, along with our Wine Raffle, were tremendous. These events provided operating funds for our chapter as well as provided a near-record total of seven scholarships for members to attend the CREW Network Convention in Seattle (Bellevue), Washington. These signature events also allowed us to make a sizeable donation to the UTSA CREW Endowment Fund. I am proud to have served as President of this amazing organization this year, and I sincerely thank all of our Board, sponsors and members for their generosity and support in making this a superb year for CREW! Please take a moment to review the many exciting accomplishments of CREW San Antonio in 2015 in this Year in Review. We have accomplished so much together! Sincerely, Carrie Caesar CREW San Antonio 2015 Chapter President E S TA B L I S H E D 1 9 8 3 2 2015 YEAR IN Review BOARD OF Directors Special thank you to our: President Carrie Caesar, CBRE Director – Community Outreach Brenda Tuma, Teknion President Elect Cheryl Pyle, Bank of the Ozarks Director – Programs Katherine Howe Frilot, Wells Fargo Past President Susie Wallis, KW Commercial Director – Special Events Cherie Short, Stewart Title Secretary Connie Gannon, Paradigm Tax Group Director – Advertising Dena Welch, Highland Management, Inc.
